Bulldog Heavy APC's, Charger Anti-Grav AFV, SFA Bundles all new for HOF 15mm Sci Fi Range

The mighty HOF 15mm Science Fiction range expands its vehicle park in this announcement of new releases.  Over 170 codes all of which are single pieces or packs which can be had as single miniatures within them.  Robots, Aliens, Octopods, Cultists, Zidhe, Automata, Killer Plants, Scenics as well as Grey Aliens and of course the array of Security Force Alpha (SFA) which is a generic near future force of all arms.  It is into this part of the range we go with four new vehicles and two saver bundles. 

The Bulldog is a heavily armoured low profile transport for dangerous urban areas mainly used by the Security Force Alpha in the Human Colonies.  Its hull is reinforced beyond that of the Charger which gives better protection at the cost of speed.  It carries five to eight troopers (depending on turret choice) and comes in a wheeled, tracked and anti-gravity variant.  

Each Bulldog is about 55mm long, 50mm wide and 25mm tall and the anti-gravity variant is a little bigger and comes with a resin float base.

We have a new Charger APC /AFV which is the fourth variant joining the wheeled, tracked and hover versions.  As with the Bulldogs and other Chargers it comes with a sprue of parts (gun turret, flat APC top turret, turret hatch, half SFA crewman) allowing for choice in assembly.

There are more than eight poses of infantry in the SFA covering many different roles.  The central Troopers and Support Troopers are resin as is the Maginot Defence Turret and these all feature along with a choice of Charger APC's in our HOFA Security Force Alpha Core Army Set.  These sets give you 10% built in saving and come with 75 Infantry, 2 Turrets and 6 Chargers.

New GNATS 15mm Mechs Daisy Cutter and Haymaker 70mm tall

Towering mechs are a pure part of future war on the tabletop and Alternative Armies is proud to present two more GNATS (Giant Neuro-Assist Titanic Soldiers) making a total of five different 15mm scale heavy two legged hitters.  These are in the HOF 15mm Science Fiction range of over one hundred and fifty codes which includes the SFA (Security Force Alpha) infantry, bikes, battlesuits, light and medium vehicles and more.

The Daisy Cutter and Haymaker are tier one GNATS meaning they are lower intensity warfare machines when compared to the Crookback and Contender for instance.  In 2088 both are produced by the giant Bethlehem Industries site on the former city of Detroit and both are front line units in the USGC (United States GNATS Core).  As with all our GNATS you can purchase one or use the on screen option of 'buy three save 10%' if you want a trio of them.

HOF164 Daisy Cutter GNATS:   The Daisy Cutter was so named due to its twin barreled FT506 45mm auto-cannons which have an extreme rate of fire when set on confrontation mode.  These compose the right arm.  The left arm has a manipulator hand with an under slung 20mm rotary cannon.  There is an upper hull mounted 120mm TR7 Thump Launcher with four rounds for encounters with other GNATS.  It also has a number of point defence lasers for small scale anti-infantry and material tasks both front and rear.  An easy to assemble 70mm tall resin model composed of seven parts and shown on a 50mm round resin base.  Supplied unassembled, unpainted and without a base.

HOF154 Haymaker GNATS: The Haymaker got its name from the twin manipulator hands it has meaning that it can deliver physical blows to an enemy GNATS or larger vehicle.  Often combined with the Daisy Cutter GNATS in active operations it has two hull mounted six slot missile pods and one 50mm cannon under each fist.  It also has a number of point defence lasers for small scale anti-infantry and material tasks both front and rear.  An easy to assemble 70mm tall resin model composed of six parts and shown on a 50mm round resin base.  Supplied unassembled, unpainted and without a base.

We have three other GNATS which are tier two bigger at about 90mm to 100mm tall main war machines.  The Crookback, the Contender and the Spike as with the new ones you can purchase one kit or three on screen saving ten percent.  We also have a number of Battlesuits such as the BearCat which in size are between the GNATS and infantry.

The HOFA01 Security Force Alpha (Core Army Set) is a great way to get a strong force of infantry, defence turrets and Charger vehicles with a good saving baked in.  There are four versions of the set with each changing the propulsion method from tracked to wheeled to hover vehicles or mixed.  Crack down on your planet's population or fight the alien hordes!

Mastergunz Paint Worx on our 15mm BearCat Battlesuits

A treat for players and fans of 15mm scale science fiction wargaming now as we present the painting and converting work of Mastergunz on our HOF range battlesuits.  Variants of the BearCat which works alongside Security Force Alpha.  If you would like to see all of these and other mecha in the range go HERE.

We begin with a conversion and paint up of the HOF121A FireCat Battlesuit.  The clear glass of the cockpit was plated in armour and then a vision plate worked in for the pilot.  Lovely stuff!  Here is is from all angles.  The work was done with plasti-card smoothed down and fitted.

There are six (seven if you count the Meerkat Spotter Suit) variants of the BearCat each with its own role. General Use, Anti-Armour, Fire Support, Construction and Artillery. Mastergunz last time painted up two of HOF121 making use of the parts supplied to create his own battlesuit load outs.

New 15mm Grey Aliens grav skimmer and portable weapon platforms

Mecha X1 Giant Robot with two head choices released

This 15mm scale battlesuit kit contains all of the pieces needed to assemble the specialist Meerkat Spotter Suit.  Standing 30mm tall when assembled the Meerkat has seven pieces.  A distant relative of the BearCat Battlesuit this model is easy to assemble.  It is supplied unassembled and unpainted without a base (base shown is a 59025 30mm Round).  Refer to the parts image to see what is included.  Other miniatures shown are for scale only.  The Meerkat is armed with a rotary gatling and a three round striker missile pod.  Its primary mission is to use its powerful comms array with its two aerials to seek out enemy strong points and to relay that information to heavier units.  Often paired with GNATS the Meerkat can be a valuable ally in the field.  Go HERE.
