Cryptmass House and our 28mm Snowman Christmas Range

Great news! Back in 2013 we did a short run of a resin building and then retired it. Now that 100mm tall kit is back. The Goblin Cryptmass House joins the Gifting Kitton as well as our Snowmen in 28mm scale ready for your table in our Christmas Miniature Range.

 

 

What is Cryptmass you ask? Well it is that time of year in the World of Valon, setting of Flintloque, Slaughterloo, En Garde, Frontear; when the snows come and festive things occur. With one difference. Around the city of Londinium and other places the dead...come to visit. Putting them back in the crypt is an annual pastime of the Orcs, Elves and Goblins among others. Joccians even rifle their pockets to see if the deceased have any coin. 

 

59007 Cryptmass Goblin House: This fine dwelling is a ten piece resin kit comprising walls, roof, chimney as well as laurels (3) and a hanging Dodo (1) which can be put anywhere on the building. The snow is part of the building on its roof and elsewhere as are the coal filled festoons. A fun piece for your gaming table. 

 

 

We have twelve different Snowmen in 28mm scale. Traditional, Fantasy, Black Powder and Sci Fi. Each is a set of three (or a value pack of twelve) or a full set of all twelve with a saving built in. ALT012 Alternia Gift Giver. Alternia is Alternative Armies mascot and this is her thirteenth incarnation. This time our lady of Alternative Armies was inspired by the most joyous season of the year and time to give gifts and spend time with friends and loved ones.  A female take on the great giver of presents which is supplied in one piece metal.  Dressed in armour with her long hair put under a sock hat she has an arrow headed spear with a sprig of mistletoe upon it and an open sack showing wrapped presents. A great miniature for collecting and painting.

Festive Pukki small Fomorians new 28mm in the Christmas range

Cheeky little chaps from the mythical land of Erin and coming across from our Celtic Mythology range we have a fun new pack of Festive Pukki!  

The Erin Range is going to expand a lot in 2023 and this is a taste of what is coming next year though of course they will not be sporting Christmas Puddings.  

Five different metal miniatures which can be had as a pack or as singles within on its page.  Vicious but cute with their scarves, gloves, hats and presents. Seek out SN11 Festive Pucci in our Seasons of Celebration Range alongside all the other 28mm and 15mm to be found there. 

As you can see the Festive Pukki are inspired from the early 1990's originals among the Fomorians consisting of Heroes, Champions, Storm Warriors, Warriors and other Pucci such as Sumach.  There are more Pukki coming next year from us....

Festive Range in 28mm and 15mm scale at Alternative Armies

We have a wide array of miniatures in our Seasons of Celebration range on the website.  Many wargamers and collectors love to assemble skirmish forces or complete armies (such as a HOTT 24AP Army) at this time of year it is a good time to bring the snow.  Go HERE.

Snowballe Volley free Flintloque scenario eight for Escape the Dark Czar

It is my pleasure to present to all the players of Flintloque the eighth free scenario in the Escape the Dark Czar arc for download from our website or right here in this article.  It is a large play scenario using some play test rules for the game.  Can you bring down enough animated Snowmen to live until the next dawn?  Find out now!

A week of this.  A week in direst hell.  A week split asunder trying to find a way back to the world of fragrant flowers and warm breezes.  At a tree so tall and so dead it could be seen for leagues in any direction the band had divided and sought out the solace of a road of a track or even a path which would point the way.  They had passed out the last of the horse and unicorn meat equally and agreed to meet once more under the claw like branches after seven nights.  A way had to be found by then or only to lady luck would the choice be given.  To pick incorrectly would mean no return to Armorica and an end here in the ice and snow.

Snowballe Volley – Flintloque Scenario

The eighth scenario for Escape the Dark Czar arc sees General Saindoux and his survivors team up again with Frantz Von Der Wagg and his Dogmen Line this time around Cryptmass.  Attacked by Snowmen in the service of the Dark Czar their only hope lays with volley fire and that the lightening storm raging overhead will favour them and not the enemy.  Will the survivors drive off the coal faced menace or fall to their vast numbers?  In this large scenario you will have two players but it can also be played solo.  It features play test rules for Flintloque which you can try out.  It makes use of the free article of rules for Snowmen for Flintloque and Slaughterloo link for this below. This scenario builds upon the miniatures from the beginners set which has ten resin 28mm miniatures plus bases and the core rules booklet for a fantastic starter price HERE. Snowmen in Flintloque and Slaughterloo a free article
