Just Us Girls #790 ~ Happiness

Hello there! It's Stencil Week at Just Us Girls and Carol is our hostess. I saved my big Gina K sunflower stencil for this week. It seemed appropriate as the summer is coming to an end. I sure hate for it to go, though I do love the month of September. The weather is always just right and the skies the prettiest blue. It brings me happiness!

This stencil is quite large, bigger than an A2 card base. I stenciled the sunflower twice. Once was just a portion of it, then I added a couple of leaves. This beautiful sentiment is by Impression Obsession, sadly no longer in business. I trimmed the panel down to fit a mini slimline base then popped on a few aqua rhinestones. I just love this card!

Thanks again to Julie Beech for guesting with us this past month. It's been a pleasure having you!

Just Us Girls #741 ~ Have a Good Day

It's time for a new stencil challenge over at Just Us Girls. Thanks so much to you, Bonnie Class for being such a wonderful guest designer this past month. It's been a real treat!

I bought this Gina K sunflower stencil set last year and this is it's first outing. My purchase was made after sunflower season. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

I used traditional colors for this maiden voyage. After my stenciling was complete, I embossed with my new lucky find. The Amy Tangerine folder my sweet friend Michele uses. After a long search, I was able to find it on Amazon! Happy dance! I popped on a tag holding a sentiment from TSM and topped it with one of their cute bows. A pair of adorable Poppystamps butterflies finished things off.

Okay, my friends, it's your turn now.
What stencil will you pick?
I can't wait to find out!

Happy Birthday

Hiya sweet peeps! I put together a fun card for the Seize the Birthday challenge. The recipient of this card is a purple lover. Not my go to color, but I like the way it turned out! I hope you'll let me know what you think.

I put this cute MFT balloon die to work with some extra sweet purple polka dot paper. Don'tcha just love it! It's topped of with some loopy blooms from PTI. The pretty script part of the sentiment is by Gina K. Lots of companies playing well together on this one!

Thanks for taking a peek!
