Hey there! I have a cute bright and happy holiday card to share today. This one is headed to the Inkspirational challenge. They're looking for Knit/Knitted items.

Just Us Girls #769 ~ You're a Hoot!
It's die week at Just Us Girls and Sue is looking for anything but flowers. That's an easy one! I had just the die to use in my arsenal that was recently gifted to me. Take a look...
The Dreamy Frame die by Waffle Flower is so darn cute! I popped a speckled navy blue paper behind the frame then added my sweet little owl (POD) that's perched on a branch. A fun sentiment (Denami) was layered up and it all went onto a soft stone card base. Easy peasy!
Lets go check out what the team and our April guest designer, Wanda Cullen have to share. Then you can get to work on your card!

Sweet P makes a card!
Hello friends! I have a cute little card to share with you today made by Sweet P! I picked her up from school on Friday and we hung out for a wee bit before driving her to a birthday party. Mom let me know she had forgotten a card for the gift, so Sweet P decided she wanted to make one! I do apologize for the photo, it's a tad dark. We remembered while in the car on the way to the birthday party! I took a quick snap in the driveway!
Like our Sweet P, her friend loves to read. She said she wanted to stamp something with books and I remembered this cutie little Purple Onion bunny. She colored him with Copics then stamped the grassy rocks and wee butterflies. She wanted the bunny to be laying on his tummy in the grass, so she colored him a little patch with a Copic marker. After stamping the sentiment, she thought some clouds would look good. I said why not stencil some? "Okay gramma, that sounds like fun!" Lets just say, that was her favorite thing to do and her favorite part of the card!
I think it's adorable and her friend Harper loved it!

Noel
I couldn't let the year go by without inking up sweet little Birch by Purple Onion. He's just too cute sporting his stocking cap and mittens! Then I remembered the Time Out Challenges were looking for festive attire. I think Birch looks festive!

Merry Christmas
LeAnne is this week's hostess at The Paper Players. Her challenge is a CAS card with a tag on it. I had the perfect polka dot tag just begging to be used!
The little RC tag was in my pile of Christmas paper snippets to be used up. It was just the right size for this sweet Stacey Yacula (POD) bunny, Birch! I stamped him with kraft ink them clear embossed him and trimmed him out. A couple of holly sprigs by Simply Graphic bring out the green in his cute little hat! I thought the playful font on this DeNami sentiment suited him well.
Off this goes to the gallery. Thanks for stopping by!

Just Us Girls #692 ~ Hi
It's word week at Just Us Girls. Lisa K. is our hostess and she's picked the perfect summer word for us ~ Bee! I have a little cutie who's buzzing by to say hi!
He's part of the Garden Bugs set by Purple Onion Designs. Isn't he adorable! I stenciled some clouds on a little scrap of white, stamped the bee then framed him with a PPP Polaroid die. I thought the fun striped sentiment and whimsical blooms were a good match.
The DT and our August GD, Greta have some terrific inspiration for you. We sure hope you'll join us this week. It should be a honey of a gallery!

There's Snow One Like You
December already? It rolled into our neck of the woods at a brisk 22 degrees this morning... brrr! How about a frosty little card for the occasion. Once again from the batch of cards I had ready to go. This one is for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I used the line Snow, Animal & Frame
This cute little snow globe is from MFT. I filled it with some snowy patterned paper, confetti and a penguin from PPP. The base of the globe was stamped with a wood grain image (POD). I think the MFT Wonky Rectangles framed it out perfectly! A few more frosty flakes and punny sentiment (PPP) were added before popping everything onto a swirly panel (Lil' Inkers - sadly closed and no longer available).
So I have a new accessory for the month of December. Attractive, isn't it! Maybe I'll stick a Christmas bow on it LOL! Physical therapy started yesterday. It's going to be a bit of a slow go and a long haul. I still have a lot of swelling and bruising so small minimal movements this month.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks to all of those who have been checking in and those leaving well wishes. You know how to make a girl feel loved!

You're All I Wish For
Ready to get CAS?
That's what our hostess, Sue is looking for at Just Us Girls!
Okay, lets go!
I created a top fold mini slimeline card for today's challenge. Opposing corners were stamped with a sweet floral image (SG). I paired the sentiment (HA) with the trio of little hearts from my Sweet Pea stamp set. Shadow (POD) was the perfect cutie pie to add to this one!
Alrighty, now it's your turn!

Happy Little Moments
Leftovers anyone? The paper variety, that is! I'm back with that card I mentioned the other day. I couldn't let those diecut wood-grained circles go to waste, so I created this little number with them!
This time, I added that lovely soft pink to the outside of my circles. More leaves and flowers were draped on with the sweet little bees (POD) and Lilly the owl (POD) making their appearance here too. I found the tiny trio of gem flowers in my stash to pick up the yellow on this one!
Which one is your favorite? My in house critic likes them both, but said the first one wins for him!

Just Us Girls ~ #643
Ina has come up with such a fun challenge for Just Us Girls... CASE a Designer! You can pick anyone you want! A member of our DT, a fellow card maker, scrapbooker, quilter, painter... sounds like fun huh!
A few years ago, while checking out Stacy Yacula's stamps at Purple Onion Designs, I came across this darling card by Nicky Meek. I'm CASEing it today!
I had the same woodgrain background, used the circle openings with those delightful soft pinks inside of them and this is what I came up with!
I paired my owl (Lilly ~ POD) with the bee from the Garden Bugs (POD) set. All stamped, Copic colored and fussy cut. In addition to Nicky's pretty pink background, I added some stenciled honeycomb to two of the openings to help tie in the yellows from the bees. It's not an exact CASE, but it works for me!
All of the leftovers are finding their way onto another card!
Stay tuned!

Merry Christmas
I've been sitting on a bit of happy news for a while and can finally spill the beans! I'm excited to share that I'm now designing for the CAS Christmas Card Challenge ~ insert cartwheel... like I could really do one!! They've been on hiatus, but are back with loads of new challenges and heaps of inspiration.
Lets get to it!
We're kicking things off with wreaths.
It just so happens I picked up a PTI set during a sale that worked perfectly!
The set is called Joyous Holiday. I die cut a few wreath parts using a polka dot kraft paper. Next I layered on a few sprigs and golden stars. My hand cut sign was stamped with a woodgrained image (POD) before adding the die cut sentiment. I popped this onto a 4 1/4' x 4 1/4" base that was dry embossed with a snowfall folder (SG). Looks like polka dots to me ~ win, win!
Okay, your turn. Here's a little refresher for you!
Lets go see what the team has to share!

Hello Friend
Would you look at that pretty spring plaid! When I dug into my plethora of patterned papers, I had one that was a very close match! This is my card for our Just Us Girls Wild Card Week. Take a look...
When I stared making this card, I was thinking to myself "Oh boy, I don't know about this one." But by the time I had finished it I was thinking "Oh, I like this one!" Later that evening, I prepared myself for the response I expected from my hubby. You see, the man does not like plaid. When I turned the card around, I saw this pleased look on his face and he actually liked it! I think he was as shocked as I was!
The mini slimline dies create a few pieces when cut. I used one to frame more of that cute plaid paper. This card is smaller ~ a teeny mini slimline! I colored and popped on a sweet POD bunny that my friend Marcia sent me. Yes, he liked this one too!
These are the supplies I used: Pretty Pink Posh Wild Rose stamps & dies, Pinkfresh Studio Mini Slimline dies & sentiment. Purple Onion Designs - Chloe
Thanks for popping in!
Let's go check out what the DT has to share!

One card, two challenges!
Good morning and welcome! I have a cheerful card for you this morning. I'll be adding it to the Tic, Tac, Toe and Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge galleries.
I went diagonally on the TTT board: die cuts, free and embossing. The snowman, snow, poinsettias on the tree, blues and reds were my inspiration from the POE board. I used one of my favorite PTI tags to die cut a resting spot for the cute POD snowman gifted to me by my sweet friend, Marcia.

Joyeux Noel
Hi there! I was tickled pink to win the Tic, Tac, Toe challenge and wanted to jump right back in with another Christmas card. I brought little Birch (POD) along with me. He's always up for a good time!
I used the left vertical row: Plaid, Layers & Die Cut on my mini slimline card. Birch was colored with Copics, fussy cut and popped onto a PPP tag. This was layered onto my plaid and polka dot papers (PPP border dies). I tucked in a few snowflakes to add more layers along with a die cut square giving Birch a place to stand. Merry and bright, don'tcha think?

Sending you warm winter wishes
What a late afternoon we had yesterday. Phone alarms going off with tornado warnings, tornado sirens blaring from ours and neighboring cities, Sweet P and mommy sheltering in the hallway of the school since they stayed after for mommy to catch up from being out sick the day before! Holy smokes, a nail biter for sure! Happy to report that all is well. No tornado, no damage, just rain and some wind. Needless to say I needed a little happy this morning. Enter the ever sweet Birch from POD!
I had him already stamped and colored, he just needed a place to go. This week's Freshly Made Sketches seemed a good fit. I picked out a playful patterned paper then toned it down a bit with some vellum. I popped Birch into place with a trio of PPP snowflakes and sentiment. Sweet and easy. Hope you like it!

Be Merry!
I've had the CAS Christmas red and gray challenge on my mind and finally got a card made. Take a look..
I adore this sweet Purple Onion Design bunny to bits! He's popped up on a panel stamped with some old Hero Arts snowflakes and The Greetery sentiments. I did a bit of partial stenciling (WF) in the background. I love what the pops of bright red add to this. Hope you do too!
Thanks for taking a peek!

Miss You
I'm happy to report that Sweet P is loving first grade! The word from her teacher is that her whole little body bounced with excitement throughout her first day! That's my girl!
The Paper Players challenge has a great sketch for us this week. I made a card to add to my Sweet P stash and I'm loving the way it turned out!
Our little one loves to read so I pulled out this cute POD - Zoey (bunny reading) stamp and some cute patterned paper. After Copic coloring her, I framed her in a PPP polaroid die cut. The sentiment is ME and the clouds A Muse Studio. I added white cardstock clouds to begin with, but they looked a little boring. So I popped some polka dot vellum onto them and voila... much better!
That's it from me today. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Warm Wishes
What's a girl to do when it's a gloomy stormy morning? Make a card of course then enter it in a challenge you've never played along with! This one is for the Tic, Tac Toe challenge.
I inked up and Copic colored this sweet mouse from POD. She's blowing warm summer wishes your way! A quick and simple card using the top line of friendship, summer theme and single layer. But I suppose it could be a couple of the others as well. The vertical line to the left, the center horizontal center line or the diagonal line - bottom left to top right. I'll let you pick!

You make me feel chirpy!
I'm trying to find my new normal now that Sweet P has finished virtual kindergarten. I must admit I miss my little sidekick! After seeing my friends Michele and Marcia playing along at Color Hues, they inspired me to get inky!
I thought this little bird by MFT would make a sweet blue bird. She's nestled into a tree trunk made with a POD woodgrain background. Some Wplus9 flowers bring in more blue. So there you go, my rainy day fun! Thanks, Michele and Marcia!

Happy Spring!
It rained all day yesterday. We even had a power outage in most of the city and a neighboring city. Don't really know why, it was just steady rain. It didn't last long, thank goodness, I had pork roast with sauerkraut cooking! Among all of those goings on, I managed to put together a card for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
When I saw Jen's sketch a couple of days ago, an idea popped into my head. I love it when a card turns out the way I imaged it! I put an embossed panel and a patterned paper panel together then die cut the center for the square opening. I popped this panel up with foam tape then added the cutout back in. My bunny is on a action wobble spring, isn't he cute!
