Guesting at TAWS!

Hello and welcome! Ready for a bit of fun today? It's coming to you in the form of some super cute ornament stamps from The Alley Way Stamps {Fa-La-La} set! This card completes my guest designing term with TAWS for the month of November. I'm so very grateful to Chrissie and Alison for having me and have enjoyed working with their wonderful product!

This one is pretty self explanitory, but I'll give you a quick run down. The ornaments and sentiment were all stamped on a kraft panel, then adhered to a red card base. I paper pieced some of the noses and popped them up. One was filled with glossy accents. Several of the tiny starburst images were stamped then topped with Stickles. Next came the glitter and finally a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins. Simple and fun, gotta love that!

Thanks a bunch for popping by today ~Lisa

TAWS & Winner!

Hi friends! I'm here today to share a third card for my guest month at The Alley Way Stamps! I went pretty clean and simple with this one using their Pick One stamp set.

To begin the card I die cut an edge of my kraft card base with  scalloped Stitched Border 1 Die by PPP. A length of polka dot paper was added under this and I love the way it emphasizes the die cut border! Next I added the sentiment (cute font huh!!). I did some generation stamping using ripe avocado ink and one of the leaf images from the set. And finally a few black rhinestones for a bit of zip!

And now for the winer of last week's give-a-way!!

TAWS ~ Guest Post & Give-a-Way!

Hi there! I'm sharing a card today for my second guest design spot with The Alley Way Stamps! I'll be joining the team for the month of November featuring TAWS products. Today's card was made using the Monster Mash set.

I think this set is one my daughter-in-law's first grade students will enjoy! There are so many variations possible for the silly little monsters. I used some scraps of Basic Grey paper for my design. I think this sentiment from the set is so much fun and I like the big eyeball too! I used a glitter Gelly Roll pen on it along with the lashes to glam up this gal a bit!

I'm so happy you could spend a little of your time with me today. I appreciate it and your sweet comments.

Keeping those things in mind I am offering up a free {Monster Mash} stamp set to one lucky winner!!

* I will draw one random winner from the comments left on this post.
* You have until noon on Saturday Nov.15th.
* I'll post the winner on next Sunday's TAWS post! Sound good?

Take care, have a wonderful Sunday and be blessed ~Lisa

Guesting at The Alley Way Stamps!

Hey there sweet friends! I had one of those FUN emails several weeks back from Alison & Chrissie at The Alley Way Stamps inviting me to guest design for them!! YAY and YES!!! I'll be joining their DT at TAWS blog for the month of November! Pretty nifty huh *wink*

First up I am sharing a card made with the {Fa-La-La} stamp set. This set is too cute for it's own good. I mean seriously who could not smile at this deer!

I inked up this little leaper a few times so I could add dimension. The head is popped up as well as his nose...yep a polka dot nose ~ swoon!! A touch of glitter went onto the antlers and hooves and I gave him a little pink tummy! Next I dry embossed some vintage cream cardstock with my favorite snowflake embossing folder (DeNami Design). I created some fun hills for him to frolic and leap about using PPP Stitched Borders 1 & 2 dies. To balance out my design, I stamped the ever so sweet holly leaves on a PPP stitched tag along with a little sentiment from the stamp set. A couple of MS punched snowflakes and a generous sprinkling of PPP 4mm & 6mm sparkling clear sequins worked as my embellishments.

I'm so happy you could join me today! I'll have another project to share next week using more super duper cute images from The Alley Way Stamps! ~Lisa
