A Snowman Merry Christmas Wish!

I'm still cranking out those Christmas cards, how about you? Truth be told, I got a very late start on them. It's been a busy year! When I saw Kim's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, this idea popped into my head. Take a look...

I stamped my cutie Stampendous snowman, Copic colored him, then cut him twice using two MFT stitched Circle dies. I popped him onto a snowy embossed background then trimmed off the left side. Everything went onto a red card base and I topped it off with a Memory Box gold and white sentiment tab. There are accents added with a gold glitter pen that are being camera shy on this cloudy rainy morning!

I noticed he fits in perfectly over at the Tic Tac Toe challenge too! I've used the diagonal line: Christmas Sentiment, Gold, Snow/Snowman.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great weekend!

With Gratitude

It's a rainy day today, a perfect day to snuggle in and get a little card making time. I have one for you today that will be heading to a few challenges. I love it when it works out that way! I've used Stef's colors from The Paper Players, Cécile's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, the top horizontal line from Tic Tac Toe and finally, I've used a frame to fit in over at Diane and Darlene's Double D Challenge! Here we go...

My frame, butterfly and leafy sprigs are all from The Stamp Market. I added some stenciled clouds to the inside of the frame and fussy cut the Altenew sentiment. Off she flutters to the galleries! Thanks so much for stopping by, have a blessed day!

Peace On Earth

Since it's been snowing all day I thought I would share a Christmas card I made this year but had not yet posted. It fits in well with one of the rows on the newest Tic Tac Toe challenge ~ Kraft, Die Cut and Markers.

I put together several images from a Reverse Confetti set that were Copic colored and die cut to create this sweet nativity scene. I popped them onto an embossed panel (Simply Graphic) and then onto a kraft card base. Simple and ever so sweet!

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit!

Tic Tac Toe Second Helpings

As my sweet friend Michele would say, I'm back with "second helpings" for the Tic Tac Toe challenge!  I had created another card with more of those pretty little Pinkfresh Winterberries that fit into their challenge. It actually works for two of the lines ~ diagonally (bottom left to right) and right down the center!

My die cuts are the winterberries and sentiment: Pinkfresh, pine sprigs: Simply Graphic, bow: The Stamp Market and the metallic frame: Pretty Pink Posh. The dry embossed snowflakes are an oldie but a goodie EF by Darice.

That's it from me this evening.

Thanks ever so much for stopping by!

Enjoy the Beauty of the Season!

I'm enjoying the beauty of the season from the inside of my warm and cozy home! It's snowy, windy and cold...brrr! Just a few inches of snow, thanks goodness. A good time to finish up those last minute Christmas cards. This one fits into the Tic Tac Toe challenge. I've used the center vertical line: Frame, Embossing, Winter Foliage.

*EDIT... I'll be entering this at The Paper Players too, thanks to my friend Rosemary's reminder about their deer challenge!

My dry embossing is a panel sent to me by my sweet friend, Greta. Thanks, Greta! I popped a cutie little reindeer into a polaroid frame (both by PPP) then tucked in some winter berries by Pinkfresh. They were stamped, heat embossed, stenciled and die cut. Don't you love it when a set includes all of the possibilities!

Off we go to the gallery. Stay warm, friends!

Birthday Panda-Monium

Hey there! I have a cutie little card to share today that I made for our great nephew's second birthday. It fits in with this week's Tic Tac Toe challenge. I used the diagonal line: die cut, free, car/truck. Take a look...

The Whittle Panda Pickup Kit from Poppystamps had the perfect dies to make Sawyer's card. A polka dot hill cut with a PPP border die adds to the fun along with the embossed stars. The number two fits perfectly in the bed of the truck. It's an old QuicKutz die. We tucked this in with some Melissa and Doug wooden puzzles. Every little fella loves construction trucks and fire engines!

Ok, off this goes to the TTT gallery. I hope you enjoy your weekend. We're headed to Sweet P's double header tomorrow morning!

Happy Birthday

These rainy days sure do make good crafting days. A quick run to the mailbox, dodging raindrops, made the day even better. I had a package from Simon Says Stamp! I was the lucky recipient of a gift certificate a couple of weeks ago and put it to good use. The pretty Magnolia die by Honey Bee Stamps was one of my new toys. It seemed a good fit for a few challenges. This will be heading to the Freshly Made Sketches, Seize the Birthday and  Tic, Tac Toe galleries.

Using the sketch, I made a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" square card. The birthday topping option this week is green plus one color. Mine is pale pink ink blended lightly onto some of the magnolia petals. The Tic, Tac Toe options of square card, die cut and embossing gave me what I needed to finish the card. The embossed panel was gifted to me by sweet Michele! A simple foiled sentiment tab from Memory Box was the finishing touch.

And there you have it, friends.

Thanks for taking a minute to stop by today!

Happy Birthday!

Recall repairs are complete and my guy's camera is back in the house. I didn't waste any time in using it either! I put together this fun little number for the current Tic Tac Toe Challenge.

I used the center horizontal row: Stencil, Die-Cut & Frame. I went in a different direction with my frame by using an actual frame die! It's the cute Scallop Frame Die from The Stamp Market. I stenciled the inner panel with a sweet Waffle Flower stencil. Next came the pretty flowers (also TSM) cut from two little squares of paper I've had for an eternity! Sweet Teardrop Butterflies from Poppystamps made themselves at home.

Here's a better look at the actual frame.

 Cute huh!

Enjoy your weekend.

I'm off to get ready for 5:00 Mass!

We Wish You a Merry Christmas!

Hi there! I'm popping in with another Christmas card. This one was made a couple of weeks ago and is in the mail. It just so happens to fit in over at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

Once again, using up those bits and pieces of patterned paper! I paired it with some PTI Holly Jolly dies and sweet little mittens by Simply Graphic. Simple layers and quick to make!

I used the top and bottom horizontal lines and the right vertical one too!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hope all of your Christmas preparations are going well!

Hello Friend

Look who I found scampering around on my desk this morning! They're too cute not to make another appearance on a card. They'll fit right in over at the Tic, Tac Toe challenge.

Once I decided on my card layout, I stenciled on some orange hearts. Next came the sentiement (PPP), cut from red to draw out those flower centers. Flowers and lizards are a fun way to say hello to a friend, right? Paper lizards that is!

I used the left vertical line: friendship, any color, any shape die as well as the diagonal line: friendship, free and stencil.

Thanks for spending a little time with me today. The heat has set in here this week and they say storms are brewing. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!

For my Friend

I've been admiring all of the cards made with Pinkfresh Studio's Washi Tape sets as of late. So, I finally broke down and went shopping! I added the lovely English Garden set to my stash.  I went pretty simple with my first card using just the wreath. As luck would have it, this works for the Tic Tac Toe challenge!

I've used the center line ~ wreath/free/die cuts. I popped the wreath onto an embossed panel then added the sentiment (TSM) and a trio of gems. My camera flash sure picked up that gold foil, didn't it!

Thanks for visiting!

May all good things come your way!

Hey there sweet peeps! I'm popping in with a little cutie for a couple of challenges before heading out to the grocery store. I see big bucks being spent today... sheesh!

This little fella by Art Gone Wild always makes me smile! He'll be driving his way over to the Tic Tac Toe challenge (center line: car, free, sentiment) and Seize the Birthday. This was quick and simple with a little Copic coloring and a pair of die cuts.

Hope you have a great day!

Sending Hugs

I squeezed in a little crafty time this weekend and put together a card for the Tic, Tac Toe challenge. I used the left vertical line: flowers, embossing & encouragement. Hmm... is sending hugs considered encouragement? Or I guess I could use the line: flowers, yellow and gems. But then again, are gold confetti pieces gems?

I'll also add this to the gallery over at The Paper Players where Anne Marie has a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge for us. I used the top horizontal line: bright colors, layers & embossing.

I started with die cut roses from Altenew. I heat embossed them in gold then Copic colored them. They're adhered to a lovely PTI bookmark die along with the sentiment and gold confetti. I layered everything onto an embossed panel sent to me by a friend. I think that friend was Greta. She's so good about enclosing something pretty with her marvelous cards!

Thanks for spending a bit of your time with me!

XOXO

Hi friends! It's Saturday and that means a new challenge at Just Us Girls. Sue is our hostess for word week. Heart - yup, I've got that covered!

I went all out whimsical on this one adding lots of hearts and a pair of cutie patootie gnomes from Simply Graphic. Aren't they fun! The embossed hearts in the background are a freebie 3D embossing folder that came with my Sizzix machine. The other hearts are PTI, hugs and kisess by DeNami. I think I'll send this to my mom and dad for Valentine's Day!

I'll be adding this to the Tic Tac Toe challenge. I used the center vertical line: Hearts, Free and Shade of Red.

Alrighty, it's your turn!

Come on, you know you have hearts in your stash!

There's Snow One Like You

December already? It rolled into our neck of the woods at a brisk 22 degrees this morning... brrr! How about a frosty little card for the occasion. Once again from the batch of cards I had ready to go. This one is for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I used the line Snow, Animal & Frame

This cute little snow globe is from MFT. I filled it with some snowy patterned paper, confetti and a penguin from PPP. The base of the globe was stamped with a wood grain image (POD). I think the MFT Wonky Rectangles framed it out perfectly! A few more frosty flakes and punny sentiment (PPP) were added before popping everything onto a swirly panel (Lil' Inkers - sadly closed and no longer available).

So I have a new accessory for the month of December. Attractive, isn't it! Maybe I'll stick a Christmas bow on it LOL! Physical therapy started yesterday. It's going to be a bit of a slow go and a long haul. I still have a lot of swelling and bruising so small minimal movements this month.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks to all of those who have been checking in and those leaving well wishes. You know how to make a girl feel loved!

'Tis the Season

Hey there! Popping in today with one of my made ahead Christmas cards. I think this one works for the Tic Tac Toe challenge.

I used the center vertical line: red, sparkle, holly. The holly leaves are PPP and my sentiments, The Greetery.

Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers, I appreciate them more than you know. Things are going pretty well. I'm usually a ball of energy, so sitting and chilling is tough! No movement of my thumb and wrist allowed at all.

This is my accessory for a month, then a shorter one.

Speaking of short, that will be my commenting on those fabulous cards of yours for several weeks. Just know those few words mean so much more!

Hello 2nd Grade!

Hey there, it's photo week at Just Us Girls and I'm hosting!

Fall is just around the corner and that means it's back to school time.

I'm celebrating our little second grader with a special card made just for her!

This card started with the polka dot apple (PTI). I used coordinating paper for the background then layered on all of the school cuteness. Concord and 9th crayons and hearts, PTI spiral notebook page, and old #2 Quickkutz die with Hero Arts letters added. I wrote 'grade' myself.

This card was waiting for my Sweet P at our "Thursday morning breakfast at gramma's!" Her favorite was served ~ waffles, bacon and fruit!

I hope you'll play along with us this week. Don't need a back to school card? No problem. There are apples, stars, art supplies and lots of colors in the graphic to inspire you!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm entering this one in the Tic Tac Toe Challenge using the first horizontal line of blue, crayon and letters. I also have the apple, red and back to school boxes checked!
Hugs
Do you ever have good intentions for a card challenge then completely miss the deadline? That happened to me a few weeks ago with Freshly Made Sketches. So I saved it for another day and today is that day! I think this one works for the Tic Tac Toe challenge.
I used the first row: Friendship, Any Color, Any Shape Die. I just love this pretty fairy rose by IO. It's colored with copics, the panel cut and layered over a lightly stenciled (PPP lattice) card base. The vellum die cut tag (PPP) holds a hug for a friend. A summery gingham butterfly (SG) and sequins for sparkle (PPP) to finish things off.
I'll be back tomorrow for a new Just Us Girls challenge!
