FMS ~ I Love You!

Are you joining in the fun at Freshly Made Sketches? I am, they're celebrating their 400th sketch ~ SHAZAM!! I got busy putting together this little number.

I've had the cute turtle and PP made into a shaker element for quite some time. They were left over from a 12 Kits of Occasions kit. This was the perfect opportunity to use it. It's filled with the Sweet Pea sequin mix and heart confetti from PPP. 

I cut a rectangle of polka dot paper, die cut a cute piece of daisy PP and embossed the PPP sentiment in gold. I opted to use a wooden flower instead of a heart. But I did add a trio of teeny golden hearts for those three little dots in the sketch.

I love the way this turned out.

Hello and welcome! July has flown by at lightening speed bringing us to the end of another summer month. The bright side, it brings with it our 12 Kits of Occasions post! Our lovely Marybeth is July's hostess. Her kit {Summer and More} was filled with just that...summer! And to my delight lots of Purple Onion Designs images! 

First up, this adorable pair heading out on a road trip.

 Looks like they've picked up a wee hitch hiker!

What's summer without some refreshing lemon/lime citrus.

This sweet bunny just makes me happy! I fussy cut the image and tucked the rope into the wreath. I wasn't happy with my coloring of the large bloom on the wreath so I covered it up with a trio of PPP flowers. I also gave the bunny some teeny butterflies to smile at!

She went into the mail for Sweet P who just so happens to be enjoying her new playground ~ as she calls it! She keeps saying it's beautiful and asking is it mine?

How about a little more sweetness!

Oh wait, one more dose of sweetness! I told you these Purple Onion Designs images make me happy!! To kick the sweetness factor up one more notch, I filled the shaker with my Sweet Pea sequin mix.

I hope all of my references to sweetness didn't give you a cavity today LOL!! Oh what the heck just one more... bring your sweet self along with me to check out what the team has to share!

CTS #203 ~ Love!

Hello! Seems like forever since I've gotten inky and had a new card to share. I have to admit, I felt quite rusty too. What should have been a quick simple card turned into several sighs, a smack on the forehead (after getting something crooked that had an exceptionally strong adhesive) and then I swallowed my gum! All that being said, I like the way it finally turned out! This one is for Cas(e) This Sketch.

I used a Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 3 die on some Authentique paper. That, along with the love die cut (Impression Obsession), was left over from my 12 Kits of Occasions Sweet Pea kit. The pretty rose is from Winnie & Walter. I popped on a trio of PPP Sweet Pea Mix Sequins and added Wink of Stella to the bloom.

Looking Back at 2016!

12 Kits Part Two!

As promised, I'm back with more cards made from my Sweet Pea Kit for the 12 Kits of Occasions! If you missed yesterday's post check it out here, I have a giveaway! Speaking of Sweet Pea, my stamp set is on sale this month at Precious Remembrance Shop! You can pick it up for a mere $10!

Polka dots and sweet pea pods, what could be cuter!

I punched a couple of extra butterflies from my glittery gold paper scraps. I also used a Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 4 die. I'll enter this one in Darnell's NBUS challenge. The digi image is new to me!

The rocking horse paper came from the 6x6 pad I used for the kit.

PPP Mini Tag dies were used on this one to cut some scraps and a sentiment. I also used a floral embossing folder. 

And finally some embossed polka dots ground little bits and bobs that were leftover. Once again I used a PPP Mini Tag die for the sentiment.

And there you have it. The end of a plethora of cards made from a Sweet Pea Kit inspired by my tiny Sweet P!! Thanks for visiting ~Lisa

The 12 Kits of Occasions ~ August Kit!

Hi there! Guess what? I'm this month's hostess at The 12 Kits of Occasions!! I had such a good time putting together my August kit called {Sweet Pea}! The kit began with my Sweet Pea stamp set. I added in some Pure Innocence images that fit the theme. The papers and die cuts are a mix of pretty pinks, fresh greens, marshmallow whites and sparkly gold. All things sweet and girly! Kit supplies can be found on the 12 Kits blog. I'll mention any extras I added to my designs.

I designed this kit with someone very special in mind. After all, she was the inspiration for my Sweet Pea stamp set.

Okay, now on to my cards created from the kit!! I made LOTS so I will be breaking this up into two posts. One today and one tomorrow! Here we go...

The only thing extra on this card is the PTI Tag Sale Quilted Die. I also used my Mama Elephant die to cut the shimmery pink and vellum panels. 

This sassy number received a polka dot embossed card base and a paper pieced dress! Check out her little sparkly shoes. I have a hole punch that made the perfect gold buttons for them!

Don't you just love pillow boxes! Perfect for little gifts, candy, gift cards or money. I added three fussy cut DeNami Design leaves here. 

One extra smiling sweet pea was added here!

This one received a fun embossed card base!

My last one for today has an extra grass border added for depth. That little hole punch made a tiny button for her overalls too!

FMS #220 ~ Totally Sweet!

So I remembered the Freshly Made Sketches, but I remembered it a little bit wrong LOL!! It's a bit long on the left, I was on a roll with my cute pea pods. I'm not sure if I like this card, but what the heck, I'm entering anyway!!

I've used the largest pea pod and a sentiment included in my newly released Sweet Pea stamp set from Precious Remembrance Shop. I masked the pea pod and stamped it several times. After adding the DP (looky Michele!!) and adhering everything to a white card base, I sprinkled on several sequins from the PPP Sweet Pea Mix.

So that's it for me tonight.
