Happy Birthday

Hey there! I'm popping in today with a fun little card for the Seize the Birthday challenge. They're looking for layers as their topping this week. I prefer mine in the cake form, but hey this is a cardmaking blog, so paper will have to do!

I've had this little fella in my stash for years. He was a print out from my days on The Creative Paper Trade design team. I layered him up with a MFT peek a boo frame then popped him onto a Reverse Confetti background. Amuse clouds and little doodads by Sizzix provided another layer.

A Little Note

 

 

Hi friends! It's color week at Just Us Girls. With the first day of fall officially around the corner, Bobby has the perfect palette for us!

I went CAS on a white card base to let those fall colors take center stage! A few die cuts and a simple sentiment were all I needed. Truth be told... the hubs didn't like the first card ~ HA!! Actually the more I looked at it, the less I liked it too. So I had a do over!
