IRF3는 Interferon Regulatory Transcription Factor([5]IRF) 패밀리의 멤버입니다.IRF3는 원래 IRF1과 IRF2의 상동어로 발견되었다.IRF3는 핵수출 신호, DNA 결합 도메인, C 말단 IRF 연관 도메인 및 여러 조절 인산화 [6]사이트를 포함한 여러 기능 도메인을 포함하는 것으로 더욱 특징지어졌다.IRF3는 세린/트레오닌 인산화 시 CREBBP와 [7]복합체를 형성하는 불활성 세포질 형태로 발견된다.복합체는 간섭자 알파와 베타, 그리고 더 나아가 간섭자 유도 [8]유전자의 전사 활성화를 위해 핵으로 전이된다.
IRF3는 바이러스 [9]감염에 대한 선천적인 면역체계의 반응에 중요한 역할을 한다.집약된 MAVS가 IRF3 이량화를 [10]활성화하는 것으로 확인되었습니다.2015년 연구는 보존된 pLxIS 모티브에서 선천성 면역 어댑터 단백질 MAVS, STING 및 TRIP의 인산화를 보여주고 세린/트레오닌-단백질인산화효소 TBK1에 의한 IRF3 인산화 및 활성화를 명시하여 Type-I 간섭자의 [11]생산을 활성화한다.또 다른 연구에서는 IRF3-/- 녹아웃이 [12]심근경색으로부터 보호되는 것으로 나타났습니다.같은 연구에서 IRF3와 I형 IFN 반응이 심근경색 후 [12]심근보호의 잠재적 치료 대상으로 확인되었다.
