In honor of syttende mai and the Eurovision song contest!
Nästa vecka är första delfinalen av Eurovision Song Contest 2010 i Oslo. Förra året vann ju Alexander Rybak schlagerfestivalen med "fairy tale" i Moskva. Jag tänkte att eftersom det var syttende mai den här veckan så blir det lite norsk kultur på svenskabloggen idag.
Det här var Alexander Rybaks bidrag:
Imorse hade jag en gammal norsk schlagervinnare från 1985 på hjärnan: La det swinge med Bobbysocks (dom vann också hela Eurovision Song Contest). Dom kommer förresten till Galan i Oslo nästa vecka.

Och här årets norska vinnare - Didrik Solli Tangen med "My heart is yours" (is it just me or is he off key?) som kommer tävla för Norge i år.
Slutligen måste jag ju smyga in årets svenska bidrag (speciellt som den här 19-åriga tjejen kommer från min hemstad Nyköping). Anna Bergendahl med "This is My Life."

Homework for Thursday, May 20
Dear all,
Finally my schedule has quieted down. I did some baking this past weekend, both kanelbullar and Jean´s ryebread (limpa). I´m including the pictures for your viewing pleasure.
The homework for Thursday is as follows:
Övningsbok - finish chapter 11.
Textbok - read chapter 12.
"Ensamma Mamman" - the newest handout - prepare to discuss pg. 2.

Homework for Thursday, May 13
Dear all,
Sorry for the couple of weeks of neglecting the blog!
Here is your homework for this coming Thursday:
1. You are supposed to have done the exercises up to and through pg. 157 in our övningsbok.
2. You should be prepared to discuss pg. 1 on the new hand-out about Ensamma Mamman. What happens in the comic strips, what do the characters look like? Where are they? What are they saying? What are they thinking?
3. I will make sure to bring the two missing pages from Vem ska trösta Knyttet for the listening exercises. I was very excited last time that you did so well with that particular exercise - you are really improving!
4. If you did most of this last week and still want some extra work, you might write a summary of the second half of chapter 11. Alternatively, you could write a brief synopsis of the plot of the entire book. Who are the main characters? What is the crime that needs to be resolved? What has happened and who is Anette?
Including two youtube-videos of summersongs and landscapes from Sweden - it is that time of the year!
