ANNISTEEN ALLEN Fujiyama Mama b/w Wheels Of Love

When I see her name ,it almost always makes me think of ,"Antiseen Allin" , which was a fine band, but I also think ,wow! the original version of what would later become one of Wanda Jackson's biggest hits ,"Fujiyama Mama"! That's right folks ,Annisteen did it first! The flip is some kinda trucker ode ,i suppose!

ANTISEEN - It Looks Good For Them To Care b/w Fuck All Y'all

A coupla my favorite tunes ,on this early single. These fellas are downright anti-establishment,worked with GG Allin, and I think one of the guys in this band, said he wouldn't cut his hair until the band broke up!If you never heard ANTISEEN,this is a good starting point.Great artwork by the Pizz.Punk rock from North Carolina,USA.

TRIBUTE TO GG ALLIN-THE BUNNY BRAINS/BBQ YOUNG split 7"

This is a fine way to honor the King of Scumfuck rock. The Bunny Brains, are kinda reminiscent of Cat Machine,in that they at one time, used to record tapes on a daily basis, and had tons of different sounds and cassettes to dump all over.On here they do a topical number,"GG's Dead(And I'm Not Feeling Too Good Myself)".BBQ Young is members of Antiseen, and their recordings of ,"Violence Now"(cover of GG and the Murder Junkies, who were the Antiseen at some point),and for some inexplicable reason a cover of Roky Erickson's,"I Walked With A Zombie",sound as if you are listening in on a practice session of the Antiseen. You are there,as it were.

MAKE IT STOP

from raleigh, north carolina,is this trio, one of my favorite submissions to sluggisha.the (fake?)titles sound like a tribute to killdozer, the music and vocals sound like the melvins, killdozer, butthole surfers, flipper, and more.first few tracks embody all those bands mentioned.great fake interview segment where the singer goes off on the mrr reporter, very funny.the track after that is jazzy hardcore, the last is tard rap-metal core? in my humble opinion, the most interesting and best band out of north carolina since the antiseen!trippin'and funny headphone moments, samples of deliverance and tom araya,plodding/hardcore/heavy moments, make this a backwoods punk classic!their band before this is tub of noise which is above in a split with make it stop, and features one swapped out new member.really, really cool.i suggest you download it now ,and thank me later in the comments.
