NOISEKILLR - Re-Mixfits - NOISEKILLR 40,MVMT 138

Today ,in honor of movement 138 ,i figured some Misfits was a fitting tribute, the songs of the Misfits ,as played by my one man project ,"The EdFits" ,in a remix style. Track 1 has 16 Misfits covers,by me ,mixed together into one track, with distortion and delay added. Track 2 has 16 more Misfits covers by me,no effects,I just strtched them out,and the results are downright spooky! ,My wife was listening to me mixing it down, and swore she heard ghosts booo-ing and moaning, and seriously,I heard it too,on playback. Finally I end it all up on a remix of The EdFits version of "We Are 138" ,where in the beginning two stanzas, the phrase,"138",repeats one hundred and thirty eight times,in a lock groove ,TWICE ,and if you get thru that, you can hear the rest of the song without anymore lock grooves,in it's original form. I grew up listening to the Misfits, and the Danzig -era stuff is in my blood like all the early punk stuff,Black Flag,Circle Jerks,Germs,45 Grave,Ramones, and more, part of my psyche, and running thru my veins. IYKYK....... To my old pals, and fellow Misfits fans :Vance,Chuck,Doug "Skullz",and most of all Jeff "Fred" McDonald (RIP) ,who I miss every day since he died...........

NOISEKILLR - NK/CD - Noisekillr Ain't Rock N Roll Pollution - NOISEKILLR 40,MVMT 92

                                                                      alternate front cover:

Ever since AC/DC's ,"Back In Black" LP was released,I have not given in to the imposter Brian Johnson, him being a 4th rate, bottom rung imitator,of one of the greatest lead vocalists ,and front men in the history of rock music,Bon Scott! I could never get into them after Bon died, and felt the band were traitors to Bon ,by continuing on with a lame impression of their former singer/songwriter.I've heard all the post-Bon LPs thru my life, endlessly, and heard their latest and all that. It just never will achieve the heights they once did,pre-Back In Black. I know this might sound blasphemous to many, this LP is surely the favorite of many rock n roll fans, and ac/dc fans alike, and I will agree at least Angus and Malcolm kept the same sound with their riffs, but the vocals are beyond terrible ,in my opinion, there is no replacement for Bon Scott...... the follow up LP after his death, should have been a noise album,so I have decided to remix a couple songs from back in black,on my NK/CD (Noisekillr Compact Disc....one day soon!!) and I may do more in the future,as all the LPs following this, deserve the same treatment.and I do this in memory and in honor of Bon Scott,he deserved better than his untimely death and being replaced with a crud shrieker.I once met Brian Johnson down at Ft. Myers beach ,in a bar,by himself, with his dumb hat, drinking away. Also went on a mission once, with a friend, to bring Cliff Williams, bassist for ac/dc ,an eightball of coke to his house.AC/DC bassist Cliff Williams moved to Fort Myers, Florida, in 1986, suggested by bandmate Brian Johnson who lived nearby. While not a band recording hub, members used local facilities like Unity Gain Studio (est. 1989). Williams lived in the area for decades, selling a mansion in 2015.
Cliff Williams moved to Fort Myers in 1986 with his family. He continued to live there part-time for many years, selling a Gulf Harbor waterfront home in 2015.
While not the primary location for major album recordings, local Southwest Florida studios like Unity Gain hosted members of AC/DC.
Brian Johnson lived in nearby Sarasota, and the area remained a home base for members in the region.
So my stomping grounds were sallied by the likes of Brian Johnson, pretty funny, right?? Anyways, all these years later, and I did what always should have been done,A REMIX!!!! A NOISE REMIX!!!

NOISEKILLR - NOISE IS THE NEW PUNK ROCK 2 - NOISEKILLR 40,MVMT 88

EVERYBODY HATES IT,NOBODY UNDERSTANDS IT,ANYBODY CAN DO IT,IT'S PURE FREEDOM AND ANARCHY,IT'S A WAY OF LIFE,AND FUCK OFF

back in 2017 I released the first part of this series,"Noise Is The New Punk Rock" ,this is part 2 of that series. The first part had 3 bands ,Black Flag,Germs, and Crass, utilizing their first 7" singles and dubbing them thru the Noisekillr patented noise machine, and making them into pieces of noise punk, where you could enjoy the songs in a new a different fashion!,Well,I finally decided to do part 2,with Rodney, again, as the cover model, from Skate Or Die!! (also Ski Or Die!!) with the first 7" singles from,DRI,7 Seconds, and JFA ,3 more of my favorite bands, and I did the same thing, with these records, played them thru the Noisekillr machine of many effects pedals, and popped out another noisepunk classic! I hope you enjoy,as these versions sound nothing like the originals! You can pick out vocals and guitar riffs ,if you know these records good enough, but even then it will be a struggle for you! Old Punks Never Die!!
