NOISEKILLR - Learn To Ollie With Noisekillr - NOISEKILLR 40,MVMT 86

 I often tell people ,I still live in 1986.Probably one of the best years for music,as everything was happening,all at once...death metal,black metal,rap/hip-hop,thrash,grindcore,hardcore,punk,alt rock,post punk,I mean it was a virtual miasma of great music happening! And this is Movement 86 of 365,with the title,a nod to my skate rock days,another great genre that was going on at the time! These tracks are all very different from one another,a real grab bag of treats for y'all today!! we start out with gramma rambling,then a short, rhythmic drumming piece upon some tin canisters,next a long,field recording of the tractor as I mow the yard,after that a piece composed on monotron thru a digital delay pedal with a live mic on the backing track,Next an acoustic deathtard guitar ballad about Euronymous Brand Baking Soda!! Then I play some paint brushes on the mic for a short time on the next track,after which I used a handheld video game console ,and made sounds which i treated with effects pedals,and live mic'ed so you can hear me in the recording process,split on both channels.The next track is me playing the washing machine,as a drum kit,keeping a rhythm,for just over a minute.Next I used a looping pedal,drum machine,guitar,and live mic to create a disorienting and audio verite piece which is split onto right and left channels.Track 10 is up next,the longest and harshest piece found here,it has 3 tracks of noise,layered upon one another,like a noise sandwich,using all manners of instruments and pedals,to create each layer,which all sounds great together!Then  one channel has me live mic making sounds with garbage,and the other channel im playing electric guitar for eight and a half minutes,then another rhythmic drum piece utilizing a wash basin and a tub full of tacks as a shaker,Next a bluesy guitar number on one channel,while I bang on junk on the other channel...this is headphone shit,this whole album here!! The whole thing ends up with the final track,"Go To Your Window And Say,"Throw Out A Window!" which is 2 ceramic tiles i was tapping against each other,corners tapping flat and flat slap on flat,keeping a rhythm for the final minute long piece. I hope you enjoy(ed) this trip you can take ,without leaving your house,courtest of me,and I hope you learned to Ollie!!

Kung Pao a/k/a Paolo Palacias,of Illinois, has been a dj since 2011,this split release shows off his skill in that genre,and I am greatful to have him on onboard with me,making history in the NOISEKILLR 40 series,and as part of my Sluggisha Tapes label! I hope to do more work with him soon! Qbert's 3 tracks that lead off the split release,build up gradually,become longer and more frantic with each "song" ,very experimental and creative,to say the least!! The Noisekillr segment is 10 songs,in a spacepunk tardcore full band with vocals experience!! Crapcan ,named after a Fossil Fuel song,does not cease to satisfy ,throughout 10 short tracks ,with a cover of the 70's chestnut ,"Popcorn". No truth in the title! Well ,it is a new release ,but of an old ,unreleased session.Lots of shitcore singing ,yelling and even some rudimentary tard-rap! There is some music here ,but it is mostly dumb doo-wopping ,young jits ,gettin' the shitcan movin'!Really funny shit ,I listened to it at work the other day ,and almost lost it! Another example of the fine noisecore scene ,going down in Seattle , former home of grunge.

Frank ,from Canada ,and one of his many alter-egos ,Weird Donkey ,did this split last year. Frank's 10 minute track ,sounds like him barking at the mailman ,for the duration! Weird Donkey ,who I did a splitteo (split video) with ,as Noisekillr , uses anything he gets his hands on ,as a musical instrument! 2 tracks ,with much utensil-ly weirdness going on. Very strange ,this young man..... Very limited! Only 15 copies were made! On the Absurd Koo label!

Spiritual Chicken is Frank Goshit ,of Canada ,sounding much like a demented gypsy ,if she was a chicken on acid.I think I can detect some large bells or chimes ,bonging on some of this track ,a piece that will do almost nothing to relax you ,my friend! Dylan ,Florida's favorite shitcore son , is Hell Garbage ,and this time he goes acoustic ,with a song that has little to nothing to do with cous cous.Both tracks clock in at around 16 minutes , experimental and original as always with these guys! John has really grown ,since I gave him exposure to the world last year! It's just neat how I posted him (from North Carolina),the guys in Seattle ,(Skindust ,Rocky Dennis Picture Show,The Swaggs,Teenage Mustache) ,and Dylan Houser (Lakeland ,FL ,home of Hell Garbage and the rest of his projects) ,and Ice Cream Sandwich Shit Head(MA) , and then they all ended up meeting thru my blog ,and began doing split releases with each other ,and all that junk! The most extreme lo-fi recording ever ,from Hell Garbage. You'll need to crank this bitch up ,it's so lo-fi! Hopefully you will hear the sounds of a man in pain , or is it ecstacy?Recorded by setting the recording device up against the wall ,separating Dylan from his neighbor. Good backround music to sleep to ,especially if you have a noisy next door neighbor ,and you can't sleep because he's away ,and you need to hear the soothing sounds of his pain ,to lull you to dreamland.

This is cool!! From a huge package I recieved from Dylan a few weeks back ,this 3-way split is pretty interesting. Konig is Dan Charge ,of the classic noise band Deche Charge ,running around the living room ,yammering ,and listening to several ,many different musics ,while his room mates were asleep. An eye (er ,ear?) opening experience,to be sure. Fanahan is Dylan on lunch break ,kinda quiet sounds ,maybe some tapping on a table ,or a soda bottle cap? Weird. The Hell Garbage track is just what the title implies ,"Driving Home From Work" ,just follow along ,it will hold you transfixed!

The one track from Cokcute is lo-fi harsh shitnoise ,like running a static radio through a p.a. system ,blaring it ,and recording it from a boombox placed precariously, inside a beaten-up ,old-school ,metal trash can.
