It was summer of  2008 when me and my friend George ( Θείος ) decided to create a Blog , posting Good Music , Rare Vinyl Lps , Greek Rock Bands , Arts , Comics , Poetry , Political and Social satirics and Rock events .

We decided to name our blog "URBAN SUICIDE", but Google didn't accept that name.

Listening the song "ASPIRINE "  ( Green On Red )  we gave birth to " URBAN ASPIRINES " .

"Urban medicines" for your ears and your souls.

After 4 1/2 years , Rapidshare deleted all our links .

We decided to fight the Shits and continue our Rock way .
In only 7 days we restored over 130 files .

After few weeks , all the links were restored .

4 YEARS OF URBAN ASPIRINES : Aphrodite's Child 45 Rpm Vinyl Single

APHRODITE'S  CHILD  1969 45 Rpm Vinyl Single

For our 4 years birthday  , The only post that I want upload is the best Greek Band  ever .

Too bad there are no artists like these anymore.

Together they make glorious music. It is psychedelic , Progessive , Chaotic in their album 666 and sometimes very romantic while Demis Roussos sings with his heart .

Aphrodite's Child was a Greek progressive rock band formed in 1967, by Vangelis Papathanassiou (keyboards), Demis Roussos (bass guitar and vocals), Loukas Sideras (drums and vocals), and Anargyros "Silver" Koulouris (guitar).

A Greek band of the late '60s and early '70s, Aphrodite's Child scored the European hits, "Rain and Tears."  , " It's Five O'Clock " ,Though  was big  hits , the group became little more than a trivia answer after keyboardist " Vangelis Papathanassiou " dropped his surname and hit number one with the theme to Chariots of Fire in 1981.

In 1972 their album  " 666 " inspired by the Apocalypse of Saint John was one of the best albums in the history of Progressive - Rock ever .

Αυτό το πανσπάνιο Σιγκλάκι μου το έφερε ο κολλητούλης μου Τάσος φέτος το καλοκαίρι
από την Ισπανία , όπου πήγε να δει τους RANCID - LIVE  γιά πολλοστή φορά .

Πως κάνω back up στο blog μου...

 Πάμε Ρυθμίσεις > Άλλο

Πατάμε πάνω στο "Εξαγωγή Ιστολογίου"

Πατάμε "Λήψη" και (όχι Λήξη όπως γράφω στην εικόνα, sorry)  σώζουμε το αρχείο με κατάληξη .xml.
(έχει και την ημερομηνία μας)

Με τον ίδιο τρόπο, αν θέλουμε, φτιάχνουμε άλλο blog και μετά πηγαίνοντας
Ρυθμίσεις > Άλλο  Εισαγωγή Ιστολογίου, και ανοίγουμε το .xml αρχείο που μας ενδιαφέρει, επαναφέρουμε στην ζωή το νέο αλλά στην ουσία το παλιό μας blog.

Συμπλήρωση: Πως αποθηκεύω το template (πρότυπο) από το blog μου
Bloger, διαλέχτε το ιστολόγιο που θέλετε αν έχετε πάνω από ένα

 

Κλικάρετε πάνω στο πρότυπο, και μετά κλικ στο δημιουργία αντιγράφου ασφαλείας

Στο παράθυρο που ανοίγει, κλικ στο Λήψη πλήρους προτύπου, και το πρότυπο σας αποθηκεύεται

σαν  template-xxxxxxxxxxxxx..xml (όπου xx διάφορα νούμερα).

Για επαναφορά προτύπου τώρα, όπως πριν, αλλά αντί για  κλικ στο δημιουργία αντιγράφου ασφαλείας, κλικάρουμε στο μεταφόρτωση προτύπου (Browse) από ένα αρχείο στο σκληρό και ανοίγουμε το πρότυπο που θέλουμε...

Πατάμε μεταφόρτωση...Δεν θυμάμαι αν χρειάζεται να κάνουμε  αποθήκευση ή αν οι αλλαγές αποθηκεύονται αυτόματα, δείτε το...
Αυτά, άντε και αν κάνετε αλλαγές, να θυμάστε πάντα να σώζετε το πρότυπο σας.

Μια και μπήκαμε στον τρίτο μας χρόνο, σκεφτήκαμε να φτιάξουμε μια λίστα με τα 30 αλμπουμς που για μας τους δυο είναι τα καλύτερα - επιδραστικότερα όλα αυτά τα χρόνια...

Αρκετά καλά μας έμειναν εκτός , αλλά είναι μόνο μια λίστα με τριάντα.
Μας ενδιαφέρει και η δική σας γνώμη.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY URBAN ASPIRINES 2009

Ξημερώματα 4 Σεπτεμβρίου 2009 . Πολλές μπύρες , πολλά CD , πολλά Βινύλια μέσα στο δωμάτιο . Κάπου στην Κεφαλονιά .

Για ακόμα μία φορά , ο φιλαράκος μου Γιώργος ( Θείος ) , με φιλοξενεί στο νησί του , ( Δεν είναι δικό του ) , και ανέχεται τη μούρλα μου !!!

Έτσι για την πλάκα μας , αποφασίσαμε να φτιάξουμε ένα BLOG , και να ανεβάσουμε Μουσικούλες που γουστάρουμε και Αλμπουμάκια που θα ήταν ίσως δύσκολο να βρεθούν .
Αυτό που μας έδεσε σα φίλους , ( 19 Χρόνια τώρα πιά ) , δεν είναι τα κοινά στοιχεία των χαρακτήρων μας , αλλά η τρέλα μας για τη Μουσική ! Καλή Μουσική ? Κακή Μουσική ? Δεν ξέρω . Απλά συμφωνούμε ότι οι CLASH ήταν μία από τις μεγαλύτερες μπαντάρες που διακόσμησαν ηχητικά τα όμορφα ροζ αυτιά μας !!!

Σήμερα έχουμε γενέθλια .
Σήμερα οι ΑΣΠΙΡΙΝΕΣ κλείνουν ένα χρόνο .

ΧΡΟΝΙΑ ΜΑΣ ΠΟΛΛΑ !!!

Σας κάνουμε Γενέθλιο δωράκι ένα σπάνιο αλμπουμάκι που κυκλοφόρησε τη δεκαετία του 80 , μόνο σε βινύλιο , και είναι από μία Θεατρική παράσταση .
Δεν είναι ROCK , δεν είναι έντεχνο !

Ευχαριστούμε την φίλη μας την Κέλλυ - και τη μαμά της που της το αγόρασε - που μας το χάρισε το βινύλιο και ζωγραφίζει τα όνειρα μας...
Τον Μικρό Πρίγκιπα μας ξαναθύμισε αυτό το post από τον γιουσουρούμ.


Η ιδέα στριφογυρνούσε στο μυαλό μου καιρό πριν , έχοντας βρει διαμάντια στα δικά σας
blogs , διαβάζοντάς σας... [ξέρετε ποιοι είστε...]
Μιλώντας με τον Κωστάκη μεταξύ μπυρών και βοτκών , αποφασίστηκε στο άψε σβήσε η δημιουργία των Αστικών Ασπιρίνων , όνομα που βρήκε ο Κωστάκης.
Απίστευτο , αλλά πέρασε - σήμερα - από τότε ένας χρόνος.
Ένας χρόνος που δεν μπορεί να περιγραφεί εύκολα σε λίγες γραμμές.
Κερδίσαμε φίλους , έστω και ψηφιακούς , ανταλλάξαμε μουσικές , περάσαμε απίστευτες ώρες μπροστά στα pc μας [εμείς?] , μοιραστήκαμε σκέψεις , συναισθήματα , αυτά που γουστάραμε και αυτά που πιστεύαμε ότι όλο και κάποιους από εσάς ίσως σας ενδιέφεραν.
Η ιδέα - το έχω γράψει και πιο παλιά - ήταν πολύ απλή.
Αφού θέλεις να παίρνεις ,[και 'μείς θέλαμε] , άλλο τόσο μπορείς και να δίνεις [και 'μείς δίνουμε].

Ευχαριστούμε όλους εσάς που μας διαβάζετε και που ακούτε και τις μουσικές μας , και διπλά ευχαριστούμε όλους όσους έκαναν τον κόπο και μας είπαν δυο - ή περισσότερα - λόγια.
