Η θρυλική συλλογή από την Pegasus records.

Έξι συγκροτήματα με δύο συμμετοχές από το καθένα από αυτά. Να σημειώσω ότι πριν την κυκλοφορία της συλλογής, οι μόνοι που είχαν κυκλοφορήσει κομάτια τους  ήταν οι Villa 21,οι Mushrooms και οι Anti Troppau Council.Για τους άλλους, ήταν και η πρώτη φορά που κυκλοφορούσαν τα κομάτια τους σε δίσκο. Από αυτούς, οι Blue Light κινούνται σε pop - new wave μονοπάτια και οι υπόλοιποι σε πιο garage psychedelic δρόμους. Η ιδέα ήταν να παρουσιαστούν στο κοινό μέσα από την δισκογραφία καινούργια συγκροτήματα και νέοι ήχοι μαζί με τα παλαιότερα και ήδη γνωστά. Σε γενικές γραμμές, συλλογή αντιπροσωπευτική της εποχής με τραγούδια - όλα - πάνω από τον μέσο όρο. Αν θα έπρεπε να ξεχωρίσω κάποια, αυτά θα ήταν πρώτα το Don't Run Away και μετά το Shine.

Six bands, 2 songs from each band.

Three of the bands [Villa 21, The  Mushrooms and Anti Troppau Council] had recorded material before this collection, and the others appearing on disc for first time. Blue Light playing a British pop - new wave style and the others moving between  garage and psychedelic rock paths.Collection representative of the era with  great songs. If I had to pick some, that would be "Don't Run Away" and definitely the powerful "Shine".

Ψάχνοντας, βρήκα ότι δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που ανεβαίνει η συλλογή.

Την βρίσκετε εδώ και εδώ , αυτό όμως δεν θα με κάνει να μην την ξαναανεβάσω, ιδιαίτερα ύστερα από τον κόπο που έκανα.

Μια ματιά και σε κάποιες Ελληνικές - και όχι μόνο - συλλογές,  εδώ...
