Israeli metalcore warriors CANINE will be releasing their latest single, “Causality”, on May 3rd, 2023. This is the second of many planned singles, leading up to their second full-length due out early 2024. 

The band comments on the single: “‘Causality’ deals with cause and effect, what you do and how you do it will impact your life. For us, it's about fighting our doubts, trusting our close circle, and leaving a mark on the world."

As CANINE breaks new ground and forges ahead in their career, they do so with a sense of determination and defiance. Throughout 2023, the band will explore through their music themes of addiction, depression, the weaponized power of religion. But most significantly, CANINE explore the importance chasing your dreams no matter the circumstances, trusting in your friends and loved ones and never backing down. 

After 4 years of intense work in the studio, experimenting with different production methods and recording techniques, as well as many personal hurdles, their sophomore album was born and will be released in 2024 marking a new page in the band's career, both sonically and aesthetically. 

About CANINE: 

Since forming in 2009 in Modiin, Israel, CANINE have been making a name for themselves by defying convention, creating their own distinct sound and never settling for anything that was just run of the mill or ordinary. Rather, the band have stretched the boundaries of their sound, through the trials of line-up changes and military service in the IDF. CANINE has established themselves as a powerhouse of the metalcore scene, while incorporating a healthy dose of groove metal, nu-metal and post-hardcore into their signature sound. Short Bio: Die Entweihung (Desecration (German)) - one man band, formed in May 2007, by Denis Tereschenko (first years performed as Herr Entweiherr), in the northern part of Israel, three years after moving to Israel from Belarus (Vitebsk). Beginning as a raw Black Metal project, Die Entweihung, already on the second album embarks on all sorts of experiments relating to all aspects of creativity. Having passed for almost 10 years through the different, both stylistic and sound changes, Die Entweihung releases "Neverending Terrorism" in 2015, an album as far removed from Black Metal; now the style of the project can be identified as Blackened Heavy Metal, with the lyrics about the surrounding sad reality. The newest conceptual “Strict Regime Country” is continuing the way of the three previous albums, presenting to the listener eclectic mixing such styles like Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, Doom Metal, Prog Rock with rich vocal diversity (male growling/screaming, female growling/clean vocals) and lot of Middle-Eastern melodies.

The album is dedicated to Denis' native Belarus, and all the album titles and lyrics are based mostly on the events that happened in 2020-2021 in Belarus (False elections, largest protests in the country's history, lot of people were imprisoned or forced to run from Belarus).

Unholy Black Metal from the Holy Land, drenched in Middle-Eastern tones and mystique! An invocation of thousands of years of Darkness!

Hailing from the urban Israeli settlement called Ma’ale Adummim in Israel, Arallu is a five-piece Black/Death Metal act that has been around the metal underground for twenty-five years. The band got the name Arallu from the Mesopotamian mythology, as it is the name of the underworld kingdom ruled by the goddess Ereshkigal and the god Nergal, where the dead are judged. Arallu’s music revolves around the traditional ancient Middle Eastern melodies of fellow countrymen Melechesh, the high speed savagery of bands like Angelcorpse and Absu, and the atmospheric feel of legendary acts like before mentioned Melechesh and Absu.

In 2019 the band had released the record called “En Olam”, and that opus has solidified Arralu’s already known talent to the underground extreme metal community. “Death Covenant” is the band’s seventh full-length studio offering and the album offers the listeners a very stunning infusion of occult Black Metal music with the ancient Sumerian and Middle Eastern sound. The riffs found in here will satisfy the listeners with its frenzy of melodic tremolo picked riffs that is intertwined with some eerie folk instrumentation. The elements in the guitar department, thrown in with a few folk instruments such as a saz and a darbuka, reveals how the band had successfully stripped metal down to its core and added a personal touch of their own special flair. them and it provides that extra punch and low-end heaviness to the overall outcome of Arallu’s music. It basically lies steadily beneath the guitars as it backs them up with some thick lines that give a more deep feel to the strings and dispenses an ominous atmosphere to the tracks. The drum section also catches the audience’s attention with a variety of destructive pummeling double bass blasting to some Middle Eastern tribal drumming that helps a lot in terms of keeping the atmosphere intact. The record is filled with high-pitched piercing shrieks and screams which create a dark and raw soundscape. These vicious shrieks are sometimes jacked up with some uncanny backing vocals that tie together the brutality of extreme death and Black Metal music to the ancient Middle Eastern scales of the material. “Death Covenant” also parades the band’s strongest production to date in their twenty-five years of existence.

Arallu has created a menacing and atmospheric beast in this style of metal with their release of “Death Covenant”. These Israelis have put out a savage album that is hardly comparable to its predecessors.

SINNERY RELEASE "BLACK BILE"

Sinnery is a four-piece Israeli metal band that draws influences from thrash, melodic death, and modern core and churns them into a catchy yet abrasive, groovy yet aggressive unique blend of high-impact metal. Together since 2012, they are getting ready to release their second album later this year via Exitus Stratagem Records, and right now they are serving up the second single and title track “Black Bile”.

Sinnery’s lyrics come from very different places but on this record, vocalist/guitarist Alon Karnieli really focused on inner feelings and inner demons. The overarching lyrical concept for the album was to touch and exaggerate everything that is bad within them and show it out in the open. They expand on this in relation to the single:

SINNERY RELEASE VIDEO FOR "THE BURNING"

Hailing from Israel, Sinnery is a new take on the traditional death metal sound. They bring something more modern, with more melody, but maintain just as much energy and brutality. They have a new album coming out, the much anticipated “Black Bile”, six years after their debut. In the time since then, they have melted more influences into their sound, and morphed from a predominantly thrash sound to something darker, and heavier. Swept up with melodic breaks amidst the gutturals, they wrap their music in modern layers. The album contains ten tracks; the first of which, “The Burning” is the enticing debut single. The band explains it in their own words:

“The Burning'' is probably the most popular song with the fans even before it comes out, the fans chant “God bless the human race” on every show so it was a no-brainer picking it out to be the first single off of the album. It is an upbeat thrash song with many heavy and groovy moments. It was perfect for the beginning of the album, to start with a bang, with no introductions or orchestral intros just straight-up metal from the get-go. Lyrically the song’s full name was The Burning of Mt. Sinai and so it’s easy to know this song is an anti-religious song, coming from Israel, religion is a big part of the atmosphere where we grew up, and we are not very fond of those establishments that are more about power and money than the lessons in those books they sell.”

Coming at the listener fast and hard is the name of the game for Sinnery. They infuse their music with real true emotions and messages, nothing about it is made up, it’s all very personal and they really dug into the deepest, darkest parts of themselves to write this album. They anticipate that it’ll be received well and expect that listeners will find that sense of realness in it amidst relentless riffs and catchy melodies.

NICARUS RELEASE VIDEO FOR "COAL PEOPLE, COAL PUPPETS"

Nicarus, the one woman band featuring Israel's Tali Green, has released a new video for her song Coal People, Coal Puppets. The song is a remastered version from her recently released album of the same name.

Tali commented "I am so happy to release this video! It is one of my most personal and meaningful creations, it was the birth of Nicarus and written in a realm between the worlds in times of both darkness and light."

Every so often, something so familiar but so fresh emerges from the pack of heavy music.  Israel's ETERNAL STRUGGLE is just that band.  Reminiscent of the early 2000's hardcore/metal cross-over boom, ETERNAL STRUGGLE have amassed a heavy arsenal of tracks on their full-length debut, YEAR OF THE GUN!!!

"Year of the Gun" will debut on June 4th through Upstate Records in the US and Demons Run Amok in Europe with worldwide digital distribution through Blood Blast Distribution. Produced by Brian "Mitts" Daniels (Madball, Skarhead) and mastered by Tue Madsen (Meshuggah, Suicide Silence, The Haunted), "Year of the Gun" is a sonic barrage of aggressive familiarity that is sure to get your blood pumping.

ETERNAL STRUGGLE's "Year of the Gun", oozes with primal emotion that is angry, dark, all the while delivered in an upbeat, polished package, reminiscent of Sepultura's classic, Beneath The Remains. 

Born into a political heat and everyday challenge of life in the Middle East, ETERNAL STRUGGLE are fueled  by a system infiltrated with corruption, racism, mandatory army drafts, religious agenda and a brutal militarized police force abusing their power and limiting basic human rights.

They are known for their aggressive and chaotic live performances as well as their ambition as a forward-thinking band, fusing elements from both worlds of Extreme Metal & Hardcore Punk. Socially, always fighting the good fight, while bringing different music communities together over PMA ethics and their infectiously hard-hitting and groove ridden songs.

Since their self released debut EP “Breaking & Entering,” ETERNAL STRUGGLE have been non-stop busy performing around the country with endless demand, building a dedicated following of fans and friends alike. In the Summer 2017, Eternal Struggle played Europe's largest Heavy Metal festival, Wacken Open Air. A sold-out festival with an attendance of 130,000. Check out their performance here.

Late 2018, Eternal Struggle was picked up by New York Hardcore pioneer, Brian 'Mitts' Daniels (MADBALL, SKARHEAD) produce "YEAR OF THE GUN" with legendary TUE MADSEN (MESHUGGAH) to lend his impeccable mastering skills.
