HOMICYDE Drop New Album “Immortal” – Melodic Death Metal From the Swamps of South Carolina

Charleston, SC — The swamps have spoken. HOMICYDE, the five-piece melodic death metal assault unit from Charleston, South Carolina, have just unleashed their brand-new album Immortal , now available on all streaming platforms. Recorded and mastered at Exodian Studios, this latest chapter in the band’s journey is a crushing blend of technical precision, unrelenting brutality, and swamp-born groove.

Formed in 2010 by brothers Carl (drums), Jacob (vocals), and Shane Parrott (bass), HOMICYDE’s ranks grew with the addition of Wayne Palmer (guitar) and Thomas Weidick (guitar). Influenced by heavyweights like The Black Dahlia Murder, Orbit Culture, Cattle Decapitation, and Gojira, HOMICYDE carve their own path—mixing violent intensity with haunting melodic passages.

Immortal follows their 2022 release The Sickening Tales , taking their sound to a new level with razor-sharp riffs, bone-breaking breakdowns, and lyrics that explore resilience, mortality, and the fight to outlast the darkness.

Better late than never, right? It may have taken a year to kick off full-scale promotion, but HOMICYDE are back with a vengeance. Fresh off their “All The Worst Stars” tour in support of the new record, the band remains fully independent and DIY—booking their own tours, hitting the road hard, and feeding the underground metal scene with every show. HOMICYDE are currently booking October 2025 and January 2026, while writing new material to keep the carnage going.

EDGE OF PARADISE LANZA VIDEO PARA "FALLING LIGHT"

 

La banda de cinematic rock Edge of Paradise ha revelado el video musical oficial de "Falling Light", un tema imponente de su aclamado álbum Prophecy (Napalm Records).

El lanzamiento llega mientras la banda se prepara para embarcarse en su muy esperada gira por Estados Unidos con el potente grupo japonés Lovebites, que comenzará el 4 de noviembre en el Gramercy Theatre de Nueva York y finalizará en Los Ángeles.

El video de "Falling Light", dirigido por Julian Oyanedel Santiesteban, captura la esencia de Prophecy: resiliencia, transformación y la colisión entre el caos y la luz.

"Falling Light" es la búsqueda de la verdad y el significado en un mundo de caos y ruido, un recordatorio de que incluso en realidades fracturadas, la luz interior nos guía y nos mantiene fieles a nosotros mismos".

Pero esto es solo el principio: Edge of Paradise se prepara para lanzar su reinterpretación de "Lux Aeterna" (Requiem for a Dream), en honor al 25 aniversario de la película. El tema, titulado "Angels of Static", se lanzará el 26 de septiembre, seguido de un video musical el 1 de octubre. La pieza reimaginada transforma la tragedia de la icónica banda sonora en un mensaje de resiliencia y esperanza, conectando a la perfección con el arco narrativo de Prophecy.

La gira con Lovebites marca otro hito para Edge of Paradise, quienes han girado por más de 30 países hasta la fecha y continúan aumentando su audiencia internacional.
