Underground icon, extreme metal trailblazer, third world warrior, and leader of a diverse and dedicated tribe, Max Cavalera not only survives but thrives, blasting out riff after killer riff. The same voice, body, and spirit which launched SOULFLY in 1997 summons impossibly heavy noise to this day, throwing down ten slabs of monstrous music on the band's twelfth album, Totem which will be released via Nuclear Blast on August 5th.

Totem was recorded at Platinum Underground in Mesa Arizona by John Aquilino and Arthur Rizk with assistance from John Powers. Produced by Max alongside Arthur Rizk (KREATOR, MUNICIPAL WASTE, CODE ORANGE), the album boasts guest appearances from John Powers (ETERNAL CHAMPION), Chris Ulsh (POWER TRIP), and John Tardy (OBITUARY). Arthur Rizk was also responsible for playing lead guitar on the record. The artwork for the album was created by James Bousema.

One of the biggest names in Brazilian metal, NERVOCHAOS, announces the new album, 'Dug Up… Diabolical Reincarnations', for the band's 25th anniversary celebration. The new album made of exhumed cadaverous material from their early discography, completely rewritten and re-recorded, a special compilation three songs from each of the first four albums, ”Pay Back Time” (1998), “Legion of Spirits Infernal” (2002), “Quarrel In Hell” (2006) and “Battalions Of Hate” ( 2010).
'Dug Up… Diabolical Reincarnations' will be available on the main streaming platforms on November 19, 2021 and will have a CD version through the French label Xenokorp, with distribution in Europe and the USA.
The Brazilian version will be through the labels Xaninho Discos, Tumba Records, Rock Brigade Records & Voice Music. In Argentina it will be released by Pacheco Records and in Peru by Xaria Music.
Pursuing the celebrations, NERVOCHAOS will embark on yet another world tour in 2022 with a European leg in April alongside cult unholy Death Metalers MERCYLESS.

"We visited Freudian psychoanalysis and using the Byronesian poetics, to raise questions about where the postmodern man fits, of its complexes and traumas, the resignification of life, of affective relationships. In this media world where everything is a product and mental spaces are getting smaller, we want to face the abyss and contemplate the void that plagues our soul to find our meaning and transform it into art ”, explains the band.
In August 2020, Brazilian guitarist Henrique De Fina and Brazilian vocalist Vic Ferreira joined forces to create Hranice Abyss, a modern and artistic project, which believes that it is possible to produce a lot, with quality and with little resources. The band gains notoriety for being DIY (Do It Yourself), producing, directing and recording all their material, from the videos to the EP. From the beginning, the idea was to do everything and be in control to present a quality and professional project.
"Flawless Oblivion" is the band's second single, which anticipates their first EP of their career, with an exclusive debut on the Metal Injection website. "Violation Of Human Condition" is the single that marked the band's debut in the music market, with debuts on the SLAM WORLDWIDE channel.

Jupiterian are back after releasing their groundbreaking album Terraforming which was akin to the sound of tectonic plates shifting. In the aftermath of that event, a new revelation has been unearthed - their magnum opus 'Protosapien'. It slices through the ominous atmospheric murk of the band's previous effort and in an almost primitive yet strangely evolved manner, goes for the jugular. Jupiterian rise as a mythical creature, imbibing everything that transpired and distilling it all to create something highly potent, dense and sonically immeasurable. This is the sound of titans. Jupiterian have created a form of harrowing, otherworldly sludge/doom metal that lumbers on erratically, carving their own path, trampling on anything that dares stand in their way. The Requiem’s Sathana project was conceived since 2010, but started its activities in 2017 in the city of Novo Hamburgo/RS. Idealized by Rex Mendax, bassist, composer and lyricist, his proposal turns out to be an extreme metal project, based mainly on black metal. However, it is also a project that seeks experimentalism, which is why its forays into the more traditional metal, death metal, doom and progressive. Lyrically, his lyrics are mainly about mysticism, sex, nihilism and the occult. Among its main influences, we can mention a group of bands, such as Emperor, Dark Funeral, Cannibal Corpse, Marduk, Deicide, Venom, Anathema, Krisiun, Carcass, Exciter, Metallica, Megadeth, Darkthrone, Satyricon, Slayer, Morbid Angel, Iron Maiden, Paradise Lost, Dimmu Borgir, Windir etc, inside the metal, as well as Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk, Dead Can Dance and many others focused more on experimentalism.
The project features Rex Mendax on bass, Rex Gutture on vocals and Rex Inferii on guitars.
The main idea of the project is to make not very long records, with more impactful and experimental music, not just using a formula, but staying faithful, obviously within the extreme metal. For this reason the careful lyrical work, so that it perfectly matches the melodies and riffs of the songs.

Formed in August 2016 in the city of Esteio / RS, INITIATE DECAY was created with the proposal of playing a strong and brutal style of music, together with constant changes of tempo and rhythmic variations, this being its main sound characteristic. The original line-up had members who had the same ideas and goals, which was essential for the meeting and creation of the band. The line-up featured Aires Trajano (ex Mental Horror / ex In Torment), Diego Araújo (ex Revoke), Alexandre Graessler (In Torment) and Tiago Vargas (Carcinosi).
With a disturbing Death Metal style and lyrics that approached aggressive and controversial themes, the band started the process of composing the songs that would be part of their first record and a few months later, they were already playing their extreme sound in various regions of their state.
In November 2017, INITIATE DECAY Decay enters the Hurricane studio (Porto Alegre / RS) to record the EP Awaken the Extinction. Before the end of the recordings, Diego Araújo ceases to be part of the band, which ends up delaying the recordings and, consequently, the finalization of the EP.
With focus and objectives outlined, the band returns to the Huricane studio in February 2018, to continue the recordings. On April 7, 2018, the band officially launches Awaken the Extinction, independently and starts the shows to publicize their first work, which took place only in Rio Grande do Sul. The band is currently looking for a new vocal / guitar to continue your projects, with the finalization of the songs for your first full length being a priority at the moment.
