MORBONOCT RELEASE NEW SINGLE: "COLD WIND"

PRESS RELEASE:

Morbonoct, as a studio project, started in 2021. The line-up includes Alexander Medvedev, who is responsible for all the instruments. In mid-2023, new vocalist&lyricist David Welnicki joined the project. The main idea of the project was the space theme, which is also reflected in the sound and accompaniment of dense atmospheric canvases in the background. So far, project released four full length albums: "Anmet" (2021), "Chorna bezodnya" (2022), "Galactic Gloom" (2023) and "The Highest Purpose" (2024). Now, it's time for fifth album!

"We would like to introduce you to our new style of cosmic black metal, let the ambience take you over".

Music for new album was recorded, mixed and mastered in Szczecin (Poland) by Alexander Medvediev. Cover artwork was done also by the leader of the project, Alexander. New album titled "No One Knows We’re Dying" will be released digitally on December 12, 2025.

Alexander comments upcoming album: "No One Knows We’re Dying traces the inevitable cycles of life — from the beauty of creation to the weight of existence, and finally, to a cold, inevitable silence. The project embraces raw authenticity, with the mix and master intentionally restrained to preserve the natural texture of the vocals. Minimal post-processing allows every imperfection to speak truthfully, amplifying the emotional resonance of the performance. The instrumental foundation forms a cohesive narrative that evokes deep melancholy and a quiet sense of hopelessness, guiding the listener through a hauntingly introspective experience".

ORBSTRUCT RELEASE "OSTRACISM"

PRESS RELEASE.

Band: ORBSTRUCT

Album: Ostracism

Release Date: October 3, 2025

Country: Ukraine

Genre: Blackened Death Metal

Label: Paragon Records

Ukrainian (currently Poland-based) blackened death metal band ORBSTRUCT set October 3rd as the international release date for their highly anticipated third full-length album, Ostracism, which will be released via Paragon Records in all physical formats.

"Ostracism was meant to be a manifesto of our solitude, which we wanted to offer as a gift and the best chance for each person to truly know themselves. But as we dove deeper into our own minds, we came across images we weren't ready for. Under pressure from outside forces we couldn't control, we couldn't see a way back from this nightmare, so we were forced to fight our way out through paths that completely shattered how we saw reality and ourselves. In the end Ostracism became a scream of our despair, from which we no longer expect a reply, but we still hope we're not alone in this emptiness, and that our cry will be heard." - says the band

Tracklisting for Ostracism:

1. Gathering the Seeds of Own Suffering

2. Hive

3. Ostracism

4. Ice Insulation

5. Sunflowers on Our Fields

6. Hate Us

7. Fakel Vynny

8. RIP

9. Only You and I

ORBSTRUCT is the adept of the darkest side of Death. Paying great attention to the grim and oppressive atmosphere of their music, the band manages to give their compositions an unusual for death metal coldness and disturbing emotions that are constantly intertwined with bursts of aggression and fury, leaving an indelible impression on the listeners. Originally, the band was formed in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and over the years has become one of the most recognizable death metal bands in their home country.

Orbstruct is also well-known beyond their homeland. The band’s first two albums, Phobos Rising and Deimos Falling, were successfully released on physical media simultaneously by two labels: Paragon Records in the USA and Envenomed Music in the EU. Both albums were warmly received by critics and collectors in many countries.

With the onset of the war in Ukraine, the band did not cease its activities and began actively performing charity concerts to raise funds in support of war victims. Despite the ongoing conflict, the band also managed to record their third full-length album. As the fighting intensified, the band members decided to relocate to Europe to continue their work.

VYR MUK RELEASE "CRIMSON FIELDS OF SORROW"

PRESS RELEASE:

Out Now

FFO: Behemoth, SepticFlesh, Dimmu Borgir

Genre: Symphonic Black/Death Metal

Listen Here: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/vyrmuk/crimson-fields-of-sorrow

Ukraine’s rising force in the extreme metal underground, Vyr Muk , returns with the harrowing new album, Crimson Fields of Sorrow , released April 10, 2025. This symphonic black/death metal opus is a cold, cinematic plunge into the horrors of war, inner collapse, and spiritual desolation.

Crafted by Vladyslav Blizniuk , the sole mind behind Vyr Muk, the album stands as a defiant and mournful tribute to a world in decay. Originating from Kharkiv, Ukraine , Vyr Muk debuted in 2023 and has since carved a unique identity—melding bleak black/death metal with haunting ambient atmospheres and lyrics delivered in the Ukrainian language.

Crimson Fields of Sorrow is a ritual of grief and defiance , evoking the brutality of Behemoth, the orchestral grandeur of SepticFlesh, and the icy majesty of Dimmu Borgir. Tracks blend razor-sharp riffs, tormented screams, and sweeping orchestration to paint a battlefield scarred by loss and existential dread.

“This album is a hymn for the fallen,” says Blizniuk, “and a curse upon the void.”

Produced at : Anti Social Riddim Studios

Album Artwork by : Oleksandr Koval

Vyr Muk invites fans of emotionally charged extreme metal to experience an unforgettable journey through sorrow, survival, and shadow.

VYR MUK RELEASE "CRIMSON FIELDS OF SORROW"

PRESS RELEASE:

Vyr Muk is one man band from Kharkiv Ukraine.

“Crimson Fields of Sorrow” is the logical continuation of Shadows Falling on The Dead Cities. Each track is a blade forged from chaos, cutting through the veil of illusion and apathy.

Songs are dedicated to greed and voracity, the inhumane conditions on the front line, the rottenness of modern society, and sorrow for the fallen.

This is not just music.

This is a howl from the void.

This is struggle. Grief. Truth.

GRAVE CIRCLES RELEASE NEW SINGLE: "YIELDING TO THE EMBRACE OF THE GROUND"

PRESS RELEASE:

Ukrainian black metal band GRAVE CIRCLES have just released a new single that will be part of their new album. The track is "Yielding to the embrace of the ground"

Grave Circles was originally a duo formed in 2016 in Vinnytsia (Ukraine) by members of Bestial black death band  - Goatflesh. The band released its first EP on the Swedish label Shadow Records one year later. Brutal and melodic, “Tome I” sets the scene and paves the way for its successor and band’s first full-length album, soberly entitled “Tome II”. After its digital release in December 2019, the combo signed with Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions for the physical issue of this second opus in May.

The band remains aloof from the Ukrainian black metal scene, delivering cold and experimental black metal, reminding us a bit of Deathspell Omega, Mgla or Misþyrming. Reflecting upon human decay, questions of faith, worship, blasts and dissonant chords… all the ingredients for a journey as sick as introspective across Grave Circles’ world.

In 2022, Grave Circles released the EP "Pestilence and Death", which was supposed to be released several times as limited edition on vinyl, but that never happened due to the manufacture and label problems. 4 tracks that were created in 2015-2016 during the band's early years represent delving into the territory of experimental 90s metal, while maintaining the firm grip of a black metal.

The second full length album entitled “World Within the World” is scheduled for release via Schattenkult Produktionen in April 2025.

U KRONAKH RELEASE "ARCHAIC DANCE OF THE INDS"

PRESS RELEASE:

U Kronakh, Ukrainian atmospheric black/death metal band, has set March 21, 2025, as the international release date for their third full-length album, The Archaic Dance of Winds, which will be released via Archivist Records.

In 2020, Artem "Voidger" founded U Kronakh as a studio one-man band project in the genres of atmospheric black metal and death metal.

The musical concept of the band has remained consistent across three albums: a harmonious blend of atmospheric black metal, death metal, and lyrics predominantly dedicated to the raw mysticism of the Carpathian Mountains and events of ancient times.

For the recording of the debut album's vocals and drums, session musicians "Monolith" (Colotyphus, Ezkaton) and "Lycane" (Colotyphus, Ezkaton, etc) were invited.

This lineup was also used to record the second album and an EP.

The debut album, Stonewounds, was released in 2021 and marked the first attempt to combine death metal elements with raw atmospheric black metal, along with a significant portion of melodic inclusions. The inspiration for the album was drawn from the raw, misty forests of the Carpathians during the author's hiking trips. Many photographs taken during these excursions were later used for the design of all the albums, a task handled by Ksenia "Wintersomnia."

The second album, Night Devours Being (Ніч Поглинає Буття), was written before the release of the debut but was only released in 2024. It continued and developed the ideas of the debut album but was slower, rawer, and more atmospheric. Thematically, the album combines a metaphorical depiction of primordial nature with reflections on ancient perceptions of the cosmos and humanity’s place in the universe.

In 2024, for the recording of the band’s third album, The Archaic Dance of Winds (Архаїчний Танець Вітрів), Vitalii "Wormwood," known for his work with other Ukrainian black metal bands, was invited as the vocalist.

Like its predecessors, The Archaic Dance of Winds continued the experiment of blending genres, becoming a fusion that disregarded any "rules" or "genre markers," as the author believes creativity exists precisely for such freedom. The updated sound and new musical accents added a unique charm to the band's work.

KHORS RELEASE "LETTERS TO THE FUTURE SELF"

PRESS RELEASE:

Band: Khors

Album: Letters to the Future Self

Country: Ukraine

Genre: Black Metal

Label: Drakkar Productions

Release date: December 13th, 2024

"Wounded and grim, it will carry letters to the future for those who come after us. “𝗟𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳” – this is the title of our 8th full-length album. We began working on it back in 2021 and completed it during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the racist scum. These letters also carry the voices of those whose time stopped forever in 2022."

KHORS is one of Ukraine's pioneering black metal bands, with eight full-length albums, several compilations, and DVDs to their name. Formed in August 2004 in Kharkiv by seasoned musicians from the Ukrainian underground metal scene, KHORS has become one of the most influential acts to emerge from the country.

The first steps of the musicians were reflected in their debut album, The Flame of Eternity's Decline, released by the Ukrainian label Oriana Music in the spring of 2005. The first edition sold out within a few months. Musically, the band performed mid-tempo Atmospheric Pagan Black Metal. Later, alongside work on their second album, the band began its first concert activities.

The second album, Cold, was released by Oriana Music at the end of 2006, where the band revealed its more melodic side. The album received many positive reviews and was later released in an exclusive vinyl edition.

The third album, Mysticism, became the most significant for KHORS. It practically divided the band's musical path into “before” and “after.” With this album, the band changed labels to American Paragon Records and became better known worldwide. The album garnered many positive reviews from specialized media at the time. The music revealed an even more atmospheric and melodic form of Dark Heathen Metal.

The fourth album, Return to Abandoned, took KHORS to the international level. This album was considered one of the best in the genre, and the band received even greater support and promotion thanks to Paragon Records and an exclusive vinyl edition released by the legendary Osmose Productions. During this time, the band also began performing at European festivals.

With the fifth record, Wisdom of Centuries, the band signed a contract with the world-renowned Candlelight Records. Wisdom of Centuries became the band’s first album performed in their native tongue.

Released in 2015, the 6th full-length album, Night Falls Onto the Fronts of Ours, further strengthened the band’s position in the European scene and was limited within a few months.

Currently, KHORS is one of the most recognized and well-known Ukrainian metal bands outside the country. The band’s arsenal includes six full-length albums, DVDs, live albums, and EPs, released in various formats by well-known labels in the metal industry.

In 2020, the band released its 7th full-length album, marking a new era for KHORS. The band continues to grow and evolve with every new record and show.

In 2024, the 8th full-length album, Letters to the Future Self, was released via Drakkar Productions on CD and vinyl, and Khaoszophy Productions on a limited cassette format.

FLOSCULE RELEASE "Ï"

PRESS RELEASE:

Floscule — Black Metal/Neocrust from Ukraine

 “Ї” — Released 27.09.24

About The Band:

Floscule emerges as a dynamic force in the local metal scene, hailing from the resilient heart of Ukraine. Comprising members from renowned bands like White Ward (“Ї” marks Andrii’s first metal appearance after he left WW in July), Silvern, Waidelotte, Obrij, and Vidmershy Shmat, Floscule shatters the confines of traditional black metal. Their sonic journey masterfully weaves together genres as diverse as neocrust and post-metal.

One distinctive hallmark of Floscule is their profound reinterpretation of Ukraine's rich cultural heritage. From concepts to music to lyrics, the band breathes new life into age-old traditions. With each member's unique sonic prowess, Floscule reinvigorates their sound, offering a fresh perspective on their musical landscape.

Rather than merely revisiting the past, Floscule crafts a singular vision by melding traditional elements with contemporary sensibilities. This is evident in their visual aesthetics, melodies that echo Ukrainian folk tunes transformed by black metal and crust influences (without venturing into folk-metal territory), and lyrics that explore the valor of warriors defending their homeland.

Listen to “Ї” by Floscule

Named after the thirteenth letter of the Ukrainian alphabet, it embodies the essence of Ukrainian identity and the quest for self-discovery. For years, neighboring empires, especially the one to the east, have sought to erase the Ukrainian culture, imposing their distorted vision instead. "Ї" stands as the band’s manifesto against this imperial oppression and a tribute to those resisting the Goliath.

Floscule's album "Ї" was conceived during the tumultuous years of 2022-2023 in the heroic city of Mykolaiv, amidst the backdrop of rocket strikes, drone attacks, and artillery shelling. The album was recorded across various locations, from home studios to professional setups in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kyiv, and Lviv, and masterfully mixed by and masterfully mixed by Alex Sedin (Anachronism, Blighted Eye, White Ward).

A Tree of Life (debut single)

"A Tree of Life" is an interpretation of "Oi u Luzi Chervona Kalyna" (Oh, the Red Viburnum in the Meadow), a Ukrainian patriotic march based on a 17th-century Cossack song, first published in 1875 by Volodymyr Antonovych and Mykhailo Drahomanov.

Due to its association with Ukraine's independence aspirations, the original song was banned during Ukraine's time as a Soviet Republic. After the 2014 Russian annexation of Crimea and the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, singing "Chervona Kalyna" in Crimea became punishable by fines and imprisonment.

"A Tree of Life" builds on the original melody with black metal and crust riffs, a new structure, and our lyrics.

DEUS SABAOTH RELEASE "CYCLE OF DEATH"

PRESS RELEASE:

Band: DEUS SABAOTH

Album: Cycle of Death

Country: Ukraine

Genre: Melodic Black Metal

Release date: January 17, 2025

Ukraine’s melodic black metal band DEUS SABAOTH has set January 17, 2025, as the international release date for their highly anticipated debut full-length album, Cycle of Death.

"Cycle Of Death is a journey through the bleak and twisted minds of its characters, captured across seven intense tracks. The album delves deep into the contrasts between the architects of faith and the consumed followers, revealing the dark interplay between belief, manipulation, and desperation. At its core lies the eponymous track, "Cycle Of Death," which anchors the album’s central theme: the acceptance of death, the stark recognition of life’s futility, and the inescapable loneliness. In its relentless exploration of the vanity of existence, the album invites listeners to confront the idea that, in death, humanity is ultimately isolated, no matter the illusion of belief." - says the band

The album is now available for preorder: https://deussabaoth.bandcamp.com/album/cycle-of-death

The first single Cycle Of Death now available on all major streaming platforms:

The project was created in 2023 in Ukraine. The idea developed over the years, accumulating emotional experiences and absorbing new influences from the evolving black metal scene. Additionally, significant inspiration was drawn from classical  Baroque music, especially the works of J.S. Bach.

The main concept of the lyrics is to reflect different perspectives on religion and the existential concerns of those who confront their mortality while rejecting any religious beliefs. These themes delve into a personal, internal struggle, exploring the complex emotions and conflicts faced by those who question the very nature of existence.
