"Taste of hatred is about situation where a person takes a stand for someone who's pushed 'em down long enough to make that person retaliate. What happens, when beaten and oppressed person decides to stand their ground and says they've had enough and gives back all they had to endure. What kind is this persons actual hatred if just a taste of it can turn tables and make the one who made them suffer have taste of their own medicine."

BIOGRAPHY:

The band found its current identity through shared musical tastes, playing together, and a shared hobby. We are a group of people who enjoy making and playing music that works for all of us. A big part of this is that composing, writing lyrics, and editing songs is open to everyone. All songs and compositions are created by the whole group, not based on one person's vision or goal. 

Our influences definitely come from older metal, but that doesn't matter, because mixing genres actually adds a lot to our music; there's no one right way to do things. Krushor's goal is to make music that sounds good and at the same time talk about the difficult things that are part of life. For many people, music can be therapeutic, and if even one person feels that way about our music, we feel we have succeeded.

El Muerto was born in the depths of personal crisis, a raw and unflinching document of depression, trauma, and the desire to disappear. Conceived as a final message from an artist who had lost the will to live, each track captures a chapter of that darkness. But this record is no longer a goodbye. It’s proof that even in the shadows, something can still survive.

El Muerto is the alter ego of a multi-instrumentalist whose journey spans continents, from the underground metal scene of Mexico (Sekhmet) to experimental projects in Australia (Conscious Comma), now anchored in the Dutch landscape. With Lost and Amsterdamned, he delivers a fiercely collaborative black/death metal EP shaped by the frostbitten influence of Immortal, the grim atmosphere of Darkthrone and Mgła, and the progressive shadows of Opeth and Emperor.

Driven by guitar-forward compositions and visceral vocals, the record balances old-school extremity with cinematic vision. Each track is both a personal exorcism and a descent into archetypal horror, as described by below by El Muerto.

"Enthroned in the Tower of Shadows (The Witch)" – A theatrical black metal tale of the witch-queen reigning from a tower of obsidian. Ritualistic, grand, and venomously lyrical, it reads like folklore soaked in blood and fire. Betrayal, treason and lies.

"Ghosts of Torment" – An inner war against unseen forces. This track is a descent into madness where haunting spirits represent trauma, anxiety, and mental illness. Dissonant and despairing, it’s a song about being torn from within—and haunted from without.

"Lich King" – A blighted anthem of death’s dominion. With imagery of skeletal monarchs and ruined worlds, it’s a march into the void, full of oppressive riffing and funereal dread.

"A Song for Ran" – A melancholic invocation of the Norse sea goddess, casting despair into the sea’s cold embrace. Melodic and mournful, it drifts between surrender and transcendence beneath crashing waves and whispered death. Where the final rest in the most peaceful as well.

"Blood Crypt" – The EP’s most venomous moment: a burial rite soaked in bile and loathing. A brutal poem of closure through decay, it turns memory into rot, laying ghosts to rest in a cathedral of scorn.

"Wolves of Den Haag" – Inspired by the real-life cannibalistic murder of Dutch statesman Johan de Witt in 1672, this track uses historical horror to reflect modern betrayal and societal rage. Gnarled riffs and spectral tension echo through The Hague’s ghost-soaked streets.

Each song speaks in the language of metal, but beneath the corpse paint and distortion lies something deeply human—anguish, defiance, and ultimately, release.

Each of these songs reflects personal trauma through the lens of myth, horror, and metal’s harshest language turning lived experience into sonic ritual. Lost and Amsterdamned no longer marks an ending. It is a violent testament of survival, memory, and transformation. A cathartic howl from the pit—and the sound of someone crawling out of it.

The album's rhythm section features guest musicians from international metal acts, such as downunder's Norse and Europe's Adarrak.

Mixed by the legendary Tomas Skogsberg of Sunlight Studios in Sweden and mastered by Ricardo Botello. Recorded in studios across the Netherlands.

"Telesynthetic Rebirth" launches with “Dethronement,” a sweeping and cinematic opener that heralds the downfall of the Mangled God, a brutal, tyrannical figure defined by torture and violence. This track sets the EP’s epic tone, which pulses throughout the release. The intensity escalates with “Arcane Inception,” a relentlessly heavy and aggressive piece that introduces the rise of a new force, one that begins abducting humanity by targeting the most impressionable, dubbed “malleable respondents.” The third track, “Veil Unfurling,” shifts back into atmospheric territory, pairing a soaring chorus with lyrics laced in clinical, medical-inspired language that romanticize the transformation of captives into telepathic servants. “Lesions” then delivers the EP’s most brutal blow, with rapid-fire vocals and a twisted chorus that warns the remaining humans of their impending doom. The closing track, “First Encounter Assault Regiment,” returns to epic scale, unleashing the full scope of the genocidal plan as telepathic legions march forward. Ending on a cliffhanger, the lyrics hint at a possible regime reversal, leaving the narrative open for future exploration.

The EP also includes two subtle nods to the original F.E.A.R. video game: the final track’s title riffs on the game’s acronym, while “Veil Unfurling” features a hidden line from Paxton Fettel. Interestingly, the lyrics for “Veil Unfurling” were penned during a binge of House M.D., lending them a cold, clinical edge. Most of the synth work was crafted by guitarist Sam in his pyjamas, experimenting with Native Instruments to build the EP’s eerie soundscapes. Instrument tracking was completed in just four days, while vocals were recorded externally and independently to allow for greater precision and emotional depth.

"Telesynthetic Rebirth" follows the band’s acclaimed releases "Divine in Blood" (2020) and "The Mangled God" (2022), which earned them recognition for their uncompromising heaviness and thematic depth. With members known from acts like Deadwood, Fall of Stasis, and Ignominy, Discovery Through Torment brings a wealth of experience and intensity to both studio and stage.

The EP’s artwork, drenched in ominous reds and desolate landscapes, mirrors the sonic and lyrical themes, hinting at the origins of the lone figure at its center and the chaos to come.

Formed in 1991 in Alimos, Athens by high school friends Christos (guitar/vocals) and Leonidas (drums), CREMATE quickly carved out a raw and aggressive niche blending death and thrash metal—drawing inspiration from titans like Kreator and Sodom. Their 1993 demo End of Time garnered international acclaim through critical reviews, radio play, and devoted underground support.

Following lineup changes and relentless live shows praised by Metal Hammer and other media, CREMATE released the 7" EP Enchanting Black Recess in 1995 via Dark Side Records. However, a full-length album never materialized as the band disbanded soon after.

In 2021, founder Christos reignited CREMATE alongside drummer George and longtime collaborator Akis Pastras (Dexter Ward, Damon Systema, Nightfall). Revisiting their seminal demo, Christos re-envisioned the material by infusing dark synthesized atmospheres, samples, and new arrangements that intensify the band’s signature 90s death/thrash fury.

DISSENTIENCE, the progressive death-thrash unit from Bethlehem, PA, returns with their most conceptually ambitious and sonically punishing release to date: Kaiju. Scheduled for release on February 20, 2026, Kaiju is a four-track concept EP that fuses cinematic horror, crushing riffs, and lyrical dread into a singular apocalyptic vision. Drawing inspiration from classic Japanese monster films and the unknowable terrors of Lovecraftian mythology, the record explores the narrative of a colossal, nameless beast as it decimates a city. Rather than paying tribute to kaiju lore in name alone, DISSENTIENCE builds a world where riffs, lyrics, and production align to place the listener in the path of annihilation.

The EP begins with "Obsidian Tomb", a track that captures the initial moments of catastrophe. A somber acoustic intro builds tension before the monster is unleashed. The song moves through blast-laden choruses, thrash-driven verses, and groove-heavy interludes, all while painting a picture of destruction through the eyes of a terrified populace. The band intentionally avoids naming the monster or the city to keep the setting timeless and the fear universal. This choice also reinforces the Lovecraftian tone by allowing the horror to remain undefined, inviting each listener to project their own dread into the story.

"Chaos Absolute" takes a different narrative angle by focusing on the political and social collapse that follows the attack. Opening with a syncopated, high-tension riff and shifting into a massive, deceptively catchy groove, the track evokes the panic and futility of global leaders attempting to respond to an unstoppable force. Frantic guitar harmonies, dissonant progressions, and a brief clean bridge section give way to some of the heaviest material on the record. The phrase “fall into chaos absolute” functions as both a summary of the storyline and a reflection of the listener’s experience as the music surges with desperation.

The title track "Kaiju" represents the climax of the EP, unleashing a relentless barrage of violence and devastation. The lyrics describe grotesque scenes of bloodshed and helplessness as the beast rips through the last remnants of resistance. Riffs churn beneath guttural vocals, with every passage dripping with urgency and rage. The music mirrors the scale of the narrative, building to overwhelming levels of sonic brutality. The repeated line “Kaiju will bring forth a new age of rot” serves as the thesis for the entire record, framing the monster not only as a literal destroyer but as a symbol of humanity’s self-inflicted reckoning.

The final track "Death Shroud" transitions into the aftermath. With the monster gone, what remains is a landscape of ash, grief, and existential dread. The band leans into dissonance and atmosphere, balancing crushing heaviness with bleak introspection. Survivors are left to make sense of their trauma, questioning whether the world can rebuild or if it even should. The Kaiju, now retreated, is no less present. Its legacy hangs in the smoke, a constant reminder of how fragile everything truly was. “The Kaiju may lay dormant, but the anguish remains” is the emotional core of the track and perhaps of the entire release.

Kaiju was produced by DISSENTIENCE in collaboration with Corey Pierce, recorded at Peach Pie Sound by Matt Menafro, mixed by Zeuss, and mastered by Alan Douches. The yet-to-be-revealed cover art is by Matt Stikker, known for his vivid and brutal visual storytelling. This release follows the band’s prior offerings Mask of Pretense (2018) and Empire Anatomy (2022), continuing their evolution as songwriters and sonic architects.

Refusing to imitate the past, DISSENTIENCE draws from influences like TRIVIUM, REVOCATION, SYLOSIS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, DEATH, and LAMB OF GOD, all while forging a sound that avoids the trappings of nostalgia. Their music is defined by technicality, brutality, and a refusal to be boxed into genre clichés. Critics have taken note. Decibel Magazine remarked that DISSENTIENCE channels the essence of classic thrash and death metal without creating a carbon copy. Metal Injection praised their ability to blend groove and fury in a way that hits with maximum impact.

With Kaiju, DISSENTIENCE has crafted more than just a record. It is a fully realized conceptual journey that pushes their sound further into new territory. Every song contributes to a unified narrative of destruction, dread, and reflection. It is a rare example of a metal record that is both musically blistering and thematically rich. I used to have words I wanted to say, opinions I wanted to voice. I believed fervently in right and wrong, in a morality that gave meaning to all I did. I used to have thoughts about…about…so many things. I know I stood for something and against something. But it has all drained away; down the tubes, through the wires, into the watching mechanical eyes. I am an empty vessel yet I make no noise. All is as it should be. I must sleep now. I’m not meant to be awake. I must sleep now…

Old Year have existed since 2017, initially as a two piece, in the murky shadows of the Boise, Idaho underground music scene…behind closed doors, a rumour, almost a secret. But in 2021, their line-up fleshed out to a trio, the band crawled out from their cellar stronghold into a post lockdown world and on to the stage, unleashing the insidious horror of the droning doom death that had sustained them in their isolation. In 2023 an eponymous 10 minute single became their first release – an immersion into the slow death of humanity. An ocean away Apocalyptic Witchcraft were drawn to the “uniquely desolate voice” of Old Year and now the first results of that new alliance are ready to be set loose.

No Dissent is a four track album of colossal weight, an agonised crawl through a parched, dystopian hellscape. ‘Death Frequency’ begins this trip into suffocating, bleak emotion…an insectile drone of guitars above slow, staggering drum beats carrying deep, suppurating vocal intonations – pronouncements of doom from a long dead throat. Will, desire, motivation and belief bleed slowly from your body, replaced by a black ichor of hopelessness fed into your veins to the sound of a scream of agony and despair, drawn out for eternity. Worlds die in the spaces between the chords of ‘Rotting Illusion’ and Old Year tighten their grip around your spirit, dragging you deeper into their claustrophobic embrace. There’s no moment to breathe as you slide into the maw of ‘Mechanical Birth’ where the threat becomes more direct, more immediate. This track, this movement in this grand symphony of suffering, is not content to let you drown. It moves towards you with hooks in hand…inescapable. And finally ‘Lock Step’; so oppressive you feel yourself dissolving beneath the awesome mass of Old Year. When it’s all over movement feels impossible. It takes time for the shadow of Old Year to slip from your skin, for its hold on your mind to release. And you’re left with a hunger…an addiction to the lethargic torment you have just escaped.

Adorned in bleak and tortured artwork, No Dissent will be presented to the world by Apocalyptic Witchcraft on October 24th. A vision, a warning, a promise… asphyxiating and soul crushing. Approach Old Year’s gifts with care – the future is bleak indeed.

Fimbul Winter is a new force in Swedish Death Metal, but its foundation runs deep in the genre’s roots. The band unites former Amon Amarth founding members Anders Biazzi (then Hansson) and Niko Kaukinen, with longtime Amon Amarth drummer Fredrik Andersson, solidified with the addition of Clint Williams, whose presence introduced a new dimension of energy and intensity to the band’s sonic identity.

The idea began with a spontaneous reunion performing the Amon Amarth demo from 1994 called “The Arrival Of The Fimbul Winter”. That reconnection quickly turned into something more serious: a desire to create new music that captures the spirit of the early Swedish scene, without compromises and without dilution of intensity.

The result is the debut five-track EP “What Once Was” where Fimbul Winter delivers a sound that is cold, uncompromising, and fiercely authentic. Emerging from the emotional depths of Cleveland, OH's deathcore underground, Sterilizing The Deceased announces the release of their soul-crushing third EP, “Nothing”, now available as of August 1st, 2025. This five-track record dives headfirst into addiction, loss, and recovery, offering a raw and reflective listening experience unlike anything fans have heard from them before.

​Formed during frontman Angelo Vespucci’s final year of high school, the band quickly evolved from high-energy house shows to writing deeply personal and musically ferocious work.

“I just wanted to start a band with my buddies, and this is where we began,” says Vespucci.

That seed has since grown into a sonic force of heavy, atmospheric, emotional, and aggressive music ready to be discovered on their new EP “Nothing”. This new offering is their most refined and impactful release to date. It is more than music; it's a mirror held up to the darkest parts of the soul. With themes of drug addiction and suicide, it chronicles Vespucci’s personal battles through an intense fiction-meets-nonfiction lens. "This EP has the real and raw emotion behind it, unlike some other previous pieces of work, as we were finding our sound. Also, realizing other people in this world are dealing with the same pain you might be experiencing, and it’s okay to feel like that, just know there is always a way out back into the light."


The writing process is led by John Hruby and Angelo Vespucci, blending communal riff-building with emotionally charged lyricism. The band’s evolution from high school chaos to mature sonic expression is evident throughout the EP’s structure and themes. Musically, the band channels influences like Reflections, Chelsea Grin, and Lorna Shore, while pulling inspiration from genres such as melodic deathcore and progressive metalcore.

​The chilling album artwork for "Nothing" features a demon forcing a chalice on a resisting figure, a metaphor for battling addiction and the constant struggle to reclaim control. It’s as haunting and visceral as the music it represents.

The extreme metal band Murderess returns in full force with "Time to Kill: Volume II", a direct sequel to their debut release. This new EP deepens the band’s fusion of death, doom, and black metal, combining it with sharp, politically engaged lyrics. It expands on Murderess’s core purpose: to give voice to memory, pain, and female resistance — whether rooted in real lives, mythic figures, or stories erased by official history.

Recorded once again at Orbis Studio (DF) with co-production between the band and the studio, the EP delivers an even denser sound, filled with crushing riffs, visceral vocals, and ritualistic atmospheres that channel the ferocity of death metal, the brooding introspection of doom, and the symbolic weight of black metal.

Each track serves as a chapter of denunciation and evocation. In “Lady Death”, the band pays tribute to Soviet sniper Ljudmila Pavlichenko, one of the deadliest fighters of World War II. The track “Baba Yaga”, which also appears on the EP’s cover, reimagines the witch as a powerful, ambiguous force — a mythic figure who defies the commodification of female bodies. The provocative “No Father” takes aim at patriarchal religiosity, confronting the historical abuse and silencing of women within dominant spiritual narratives.

Closing the EP, the instrumental piece “Murderess II” connects directly to Volume I, continuing the band’s narrative through layered sonic textures that function as a soundtrack for collective memory, survival, and rage.

Founded in 2023 by Jazz Kaipora (guitar) and Claudia Franco (vocals), and now joined by Pedro Fraga (drums) and Clarissa Carvalho (bass), Murderess has been making its mark as one of the most compelling names in the Brazilian underground metal scene. Known for their intense live performances and appearances alongside bands like Crypta, Mystifier, Velho, and Vazio, the group stands out for its brutal sonic identity and fiercely intentional message — a collective cry for memory, justice, and liberation.

Infamie is a Black/Death metal band based in the middle area of France. First established as a duo, the

lineup was completed at the end of 2021, and started to create a straight and uncompromising music, highly influenced by old school Death & Black metal. The band released their first EP “ Into the Necrosphere” in September 2023. Recorded live in the studio to seize the substantial energy and rawness of their music.

They had the opportunity during the following year to play some gigs and improve their style, and got back in the studio in the beginning of 2025 to record the 2nd EP “Of Sulphur and Pestilence” direct follow-up to the concept of the previous recording, with the same live method.

NEUROBLADE RELEASE "DESERT CLAW"

In a shared musical past, the idea of creating a new musical project together had already been present in the minds of Jochen and David. Flirting with an high amount of heavy/thrash metal with an old school catchy and melodic touch to complete the package.The seed was planted but due to daily concernsof the recruited members the project never found it's liftoff.

Despite Jochen's active involvement with ENCHANTRESS and David's commitment to SHOCKER, a lingering desire to embark on something new persisted.In 2023 Jochen and David decided to start the creative process, unwilling to let the musical ideas fade away, theytook matters into their own hands. David, armed with his guitar and bass, recorded the instrumental components in his home studio. Utilizing contemporary technology, he seamlessly integrated supportive drumbeats with the riffs, creating a foundation that would later be pieced together into a cohesive arrangement with Jochen.

During one of their many collaborative sessions, Jochen added vocals to the existing riffs, gradually transforming them into fully-fledged songs. This process unfolded several times until they found themselves with a collection of completed songs, prompting the inevitable question: "What do we do with this?"

We decided to have the songs mixed/mastered and released under the musical project name "NEUROBLADE" naming the EP "Desert Claw" In summary, this is the genesis of "NEUROBLADE" and where we currently stand.

“A Testament to DIY Spirit and Emotional Honesty”

After years of grinding in the underground, Me And All My Demons represents the culmination of Jawfane’s intense DIY ethic, unfiltered storytelling, and genre-bending sound. Originally self-produced, the EP was re-recorded and finalized in partnership with Exitus Stratagem Records, bringing the band’s vision to life with new power and clarity.

“We are absolutely beyond words for how excited we are to bring our first collection of songs into the world with and through Exitus Stratagem Records,” shares the band. “This record is a personal journey. Sonically, we brought the hammer. Lyrically, we brought a bigger hammer—and we intend to beat out a place in the world for us and our brand of metalcore.”


New Single & Video: “Time Hunts Us All”

Jawfane’s newest single “Time Hunts Us All” is the band’s fastest, most intense track to date—layered with intricate vocal harmonies and crushing rhythms. Thematically, it envisions time as a villain, a reaper chasing down all of us with relentless purpose.

“We pushed ourselves musically,” the band explains. “‘Time Hunts Us All’ is the fastest Jawfane song by a mile, contains the most vocals, and is in a key we don’t use often. It actually started as part of Austin’s audition—he didn’t write the lyrics, but he owns every word of his part. It really shows how collaborative our process is.”

The music video captures Jawfane’s signature blend of chaos and catharsis, delivering a hard-hitting message for anyone who’s ever felt invalidated, unseen, or unheard .

About Jawfane
