posted this single about a year ago and I figured that a quick re-up here might
influence Kostas to re-post the mini album ‘Funtime’ and the album ‘Hello Hell’
again to better highlight some of the excellent Greek post punk bands with outrageous
influences from the early 80’s right up to now with another excellent band Chain
Cult (more of these guys later). Yell-O-Yell were a Post-Punk/Darkwave band
formed in 1982 in Athens, Greece. They were the first group that signed to the
legendary Creep Records. They were one of the darkest bands of the Greek post
punk scene. Later the bassist of Headleaders (and also member of Rehearsed
Dreams) participated with the band. Between 1982 and 1983 they released the
7" ‘Shoot The Truth’ with three tracks and a mini LP titled ‘Funtime’.
