If I wasn't such a techno klutz with the linking thing, I would have left you a link right here and it would have made your life a little easier ... but these things happen ... sorry!
Now don't forget before you leave you will need to follow my blog by joining Google friend connect, which is in the sidebar under the Scottie Crafts Logo.
Then leave a comment letting me know that you have joined as a follower.
So onwards and upwards ... so if you have come to visit me as directed by Scottie Crafts, I'm going to be sharing a wee project using Prima product ... no kidding ... Prima and I ... well let's just say that a girl can never, ever, have too many flowers, true!
So here we go ...
Grab a piece of 12x12 cardstock and a piece of 12x12 patterned paper ... now you can see that I am using Prima double sided paper and the team at Scottie Crafts have a wonderful range.
Cut a square 8 1/2" from the Prima paper, flip it on the reverse side [your choice] and use a pencil and a ruler and mark two lines from corner to corner to form an 'x'.
Then grab your bone folder and fold one corner to the centre point of the 'x' - make sense?
Then fold that edge in again ... check out the photos marked 1-4 ...
Easy peasy, I know it is ...

Now unfold the folded up area and flip your paper around and do the same again for each corner, so you are going to have a piece of paper with a heap of folded marks on it.
Now turn your piece of paper so it is sitting in front of you like a diamond shape, grab your scissors and cut in two sections, first cut to the left of the pointed edge ... move over two sections and cut in two sections again.
Turn your piece of paper around again and make the same cuts on the opposite corner ... does that make sense ... well hopefully you are still with me ...
Then flip your piece of paper around again and fold in your two point edges into the centre point of the 'x' ... check out the third photo from the group below - the bottom left hand side photo, so you can see what edges have been cut and what edges need to be folded in.
Fold in again and you have now just made the sides ... how easy was that?

Now you are going to fold the ends in and it is about now that I use just a smidgen of double sided tape to keep it together ... you don't actually need to ... but if you plan on removing the lid a few times, I suggest you use the adhesive.
That's it, one lid, all done and dusted.
Now ... guess what ... you need to do the same again to make your base.
For this wee box I have used white cardstock for the base and let me just check the measurements ... crikey ... I've got the measurement scribbled on a piece of paper attached to the memo board in my scrap room ... your piece of cardstock is 8 3/8" square ... note that when you put the lid on the bottom, it is a 'snug' fit.
My next grouping of photos, shows the last of the folds, the box itself and then people, it is time to decorate.

I've used Prima Love Letter Roses in the lilac colour - they are so very pretty. I've also added Prima leaves and a little Prima swirly lace bling.
I've also popped on a piece of Prima chipboard, a few extra pearly bits and a ribbon.
The team at Scottie Crafts can point you in the right direction in the shop, or pop on line and check out the goodies in the shop.
So there you have it ... fill your little box full of scrappy goodies and give it to a friend ...
You will put a smile on someone's face ... I'm sure of it.

I've made wee boxes like this on numerous occasions and they never fail to delight.
Not quite sure where I came across the instructions in the first place, so unfortunately I can't give credit, but it's just one of those wee projects that I keep whipping up ... and I may have even made a few more, just cos ...
And now ... to be in to win a wee RAK from the shop you will need to leave a comment on my blog [and be a follower] and I will get the random org generator to do its thing tomorrow and pick a winner. Don't forget you will need to have visited me before 11.59 pm TODAY ...
But more importantly, I hope that you have followed the rules regarding the blog hop on the original post on Scottie Crafts blog ... get it right now girls.
