A new release from the FabScraps team ...

It's been a while ... ssshhhhh!!! but I've got lots to share in the coming weeks.

Project – Happiness tag – Michelle Frisby

For This Project You Will Need

   FabScraps C94 007 – Lady Evelyn
   FabScraps C94 008 – Lady Pearl
   Cutting machine
   Foliage metal dies
   White cardstock
   Seam binding
   Sentiment
   Blooms
   Muslin
   Tulle
   Hole punch
   Gel adhesive
   Paintbrush
   Small artstones
   Large pearls
   Small pearls
   Green foliage wire
   Chalk ink
   Cotton

Instructions for your tag
1.              Cut a piece of cardstock 2 ¼” x 4 ¼” and then cut the same size patterned paper from C94 007 and adhere to cardstock.
2.            Ink around edge using brown chalk ink.
3.            Cover with a piece of tulle and cut out tag shape.
4.            Adhere a piece of corrugated cardboard [packaging box] for height.
5.             Add a layer of cheesecloth, stretch out with fingers.
6.            Cut a variety of pieces of foliage using the same patterned paper as the tag base as well as a selection using C94 008 patterned paper.
7.             Layer foliage pieces and tuck in muslin and tuck pieces of foliage around your blooms.
8.            Thread pearls, I have used five small, one large, five small, one large until I had enough threaded.
9.            I have cut thin strips of tulle and tied in between sets of pearls.   Sew around blooms and foliage to hold everything in place before adhering to the top of your embellishment cluster.
10.        Adhere green foliage wires from blooms – I have shaped them by bending them round a pencil and a toothpick to get the scroll shape.
11.          Add your sentiment on top of some of the foliage.
12.        Randomly apply gel medium to your tag base and sprinkle small art stones for texture.
13.        Punch a hole in the top of the tag and thread through seam binding.

Happy creating.
