I've had a play with the Kaiser flowers that come in packets - three different mixed sizes, all the same colour ... and I even put together, the how to, to whip up these cards.
So ... what have I done ...
I’ve cut a piece of 6” x 12” cardstock and scored it in half.
I’ve selected four pieces of patterned paper from my 6.5” square pad – I’ve used the ‘Attitude’ pad for this card.
For my bottom layer, I’ve used one of the grid sheets and cut it slightly smaller than my cardstock.
I’ve used a paper piercer and pierced a hole every three squares all the way around my piece of paper and then added a little hand stitching and adhered it with double sided tape to my cardstock.
I’ve layered four pieces of border edging from the paper pad and I’ve also cut a strip from one of my pieces of paper – on my card, you can see that I have used the black and white spotted paper.
I’ve used metal dies and my Cuttlebug to cut leaves and flourishes.
For my flowers … I’ve grabbed five flowers for each floral cluster – so 15 flowers from the one packet of Kaisercraft flowers, I’ve used three of the 2.5 cm flowers, and two of the 3.5 cm flowers.
I’ve used my paper piercer and pierced a hole roughly in the middle of each of them.
I’ve used what I call a ‘bauble stamen’, I have to be honest and say, I have no idea what they are called though! I’ve popped it through the middle of one of the smaller flowers and then I have manipulated it [squashed] around the bauble stamen and then I have continued to layer them and squash with my finger tips, layer and squash and then I have folded the end of the stamen under my flower.
I’ve then layered my embellishment cluster, using the feathers, the flourishes and my flowers.
Added my mini alphas and voila. Just like that you have a cute card!
and a close up, just cos I can ...
Now, how about a card from the Miss Match collection ...
and a close up ... you know, cos I can - lol ...
Easy peasy, honestly ... these cards truly didn't take long to put together.
Just sharing
