Just breathe...

Hi everyone and welcome back.

Michelle is here to share with you a quick card she put together using the gorgeous new release 'Seaside Girl'.

A closer look at the top right hand corner.  A cute wee seagull die cut from the ephemera pack.

A few more die cuts from the ephemera pack
- you can see some shell die cuts tucked in amongst the real seashells.

and another close up ...

Instructions :

Cut one piece of cardstock 7 1/2" wide by 7" long and score long ways so that the front of your card is 3 3/4" wide by 7" long.

Cut patterned paper 3 1/2" by 6 3/4" and adhere.

Cut patterned paper 3 1/4" by 6 1/2" and adhere.

Cut patterned paper 3" by 4 1/2" and just before you adhere this piece, tear on an angle across the bottom [see photo].

Adhere a piece of corrugated card [ex packaging] and then embellish with some muslin [lightly pull apart with your finger tips first].

Using a flower for placement, pop under a few die cuts from the ephemera die set, include a few real shells, a thread of pearls and position everything and reposition them until you are happy with where you have them sitting and then adhere.  Add one of the seagulls to the top right hand side of your card.

I have typed up the words 'just breathe' and printed off and then adhered just underneath my embellishment cluster to the right hand side and then sprinkled a few small stones to the front of my card.

Tip : I have used the new quick dry adhesive to adhere shells, die cuts, stones and I am absolutely rapt with the way this product has worked - everything has stuck solid.

Now again, my card in its entirety.

It's all 'About Him' ...

Well, yes, it can be, when you use the new card collection available from the team at 3Quarter Designs.

'About Him' ... it's masculine, it's a little bit grungy and a whole lot of fun.

Truly.

Let me share some of my creativity using the card collection.

Using a light blue as the background cardstock ... playing with a jigsaw puzzle and jigsaw pieces and  some dangly bits ...

Now with a darker coloured background cardstock ...

Loving the jigsaw pieces - I was tidying away and looking through a container of old dies and came across this set buried and thought to myself, need to play with them.

Note - you are going to see pieces of jigsaw frequently until I tire of them - you have been warned.

Now, a long and skinny card - lots of fussy cutting and layering.

And another one ...

And a treat box ... more danglies, but this time in the shape of hearts.

So there you have it - it's all 'About Him' featuring this card collection from the team at 3Quarter Designs.

Proud to be on the card collection design team.

Happy crafting my friends.

Until next time,

CYA

How about another one ...

Hi there and welcome back. Yep, I'm on a roll. I realised that I hadn't shared this layout - another one ... White, green and orang...
