Right then, let me share a little creativity using the gorgeous April kit from C'est Magnifique ...

"Innocent"

I've scrapped this photo before, but it's one of those ones that remain special ... a photo of my sister and I taken back in the 1960's ... whilst visiting our grandparents. Taken on the street on what we refer to as the bank corner by a professional photographer.

Have to say I'm loving my latest Memory Box dies - my Cuttlebug is no longer covered in dust and is getting a regular work out.  It's making some crazy noises from time to time ... I'm thinking quite possibly overuse syndrome ... lol.

And doilies, have to say, I'm going through them very quickly at the moment.
Right then, hope you are enjoying your long weekend.

P.S. someone I know has many reasons to celebrate today ... happy birthday 'H' ... the pigeon carrier is coming ...

My little secret ...

Are you ready ... cos I've got something to share with you.

Hi everyone,

My name is Michelle - I am also known as Mrs Frizz in blog-land and guess what ... I'm a little bit of a scrapaholic. [just in case you didn't know that ... lol]

I’ve had a wee secret and it’s been a hard one to keep, but I can now share ... woo hoo ... fist-pump moment ... I’m both honoured and privileged to say that I am C’est Magnifique’s guest designer for April.

And I truly mean that ... it really is both an honour and a privilege.

OMG, I hope that I am allowed to say that bit now ... well it's the 26th in my part of the world, so I am ... woo hoo ... go me !!!!  woo hoo ... go me !!!!

Now I have to say, and I have said it before now ... Leslie is amazing ... Leslie is the 'boss lady' shall we say at C'est Magnifique and she honestly puts together the. most. amazing. kits.

Not only does she put together the. most. amazing. kits. but if you are wanting to source something scrappy-wise, she really does bend over backwards [giggling here, not an image I want to keep thinking about, figure of speech girls, honest - sorry Les ...] but anyway she goes over and above the call of duty to assist you ... hmmmmmmmmmm ... Mr Visa is probably agreeing with me here, my husband is probably agreeing with that too, just quietly.

And ... the exchange rate is playing nicely with us girls from downunder to a certain degree, so all those brand spanking new products that we just 'have to have' ... just cos ... are a little more affordable at the moment.

But anyway ... let me share with you a wee sneak peek of a layout that I whipped up using the gorgeous April kit.

Are you ready?

Here tis.

Is that enough do you think?

Okay, no teasing, how about I show you the whole layout ...

This is the first of a few creations that I am going to be sharing over the coming days.

Love, love, love this kit ... it is beyond gorgeous ...

If you want to find out more about C'est Magnifique Kits ... check it out here ... C'est Magnifique Kits

I will be back to share more.

Forgot ...

to share this layout last week ... using a little more Lavendar & Haze ... soft pastel colours with a wee touch of black for a little oomph ...

Looks like we may have had a wee drop of rainfall overnight - not much, but I'm sure that my roses will be thankful for every drop they can get.

Crazy weather.

The seasons are a-changing ... but wowser, we had some serious heat yesterday.

Show and tell ...

Yep, another one of those tags ... this one though using the Bundle of Joy collection and in case you haven't worked it out yet ... I so love this collection.

Have to say that creating is really made easy using the papers and the collectables from Kaisercraft.

Throw in a little muslin, a little handstitching and voila ...

Tags ...

I have fits and fads making tags ... have to say though they are absolutely fabulous to create; whipping one up using the left overs, all those bitsers that you have still lying around after you have finished a layout.

I probably should make one every single time I put a layout together.

Would be a brilliant way to lose all those bitsers, instead of binning them or keeping them ... just in case.

Another weekend now done and dusted.

No idea why it is that my weekends seem to disappear in a flash and before you know it ... it's time to be thinking about heading back to the office.  Why is that?

Right then.  I have to clean up some of my scrappy mess.  I have kinda taken over the kitchen and dining room this weekend and I'm thinking Mr Friz might not be overly happy with me when he gets home from work tonight if that mess is still just that ... a mess.

Best I move it.

A little Lavendar Haze ...

Gorgeous colours in this collection - hot pink, baby pink, baby blue, baby green, throw in a little black and white and start creating.

What's not to like.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

Hold it all ...

Yep, that's what I've called this wee creation ...

I've used a My Time Made Easy template and played with it somewhat [as you do] ...

Using those gorgeous papers from the Kaisercraft Bundle of Joy collection, a few punches, a little seam binding, some muslin, some flowers, add some collectables.

Another easel card and this time adhere said card to the top of your 'hold it all' and it can stay permanently on display.

You can remove the lid and pop in some special wee treasures for the new baby - perhaps a pair of hand knitted woollen booties.

This is another one of those projects that I am absolutely stoked with ...

Just saying.

Here you go ... I can share ...

Sometimes we create something and we are so darn flippin' proud of our creations.

Sometimes we create something that we just want to share with the world straight away.

Sometimes we create something that we have to shall we say 'sit on' for quite some time ...

Yep, happened to me when I created quite some time ago with the Bundle of Joy collection from Kaisercraft.

I just wanted to jump and down and share, but I couldn't ... but guess what, I can now.

Here you go ... a little booklet/mini album ...

a close up, cos that was always going to happen ... just saying.

This pic is slightly askew for some reason ... those technology gremlins are doing a happy dance somewhere me thinks.

and another angle ...

So yep, using a little of those gorgeous papers in the Bundle of Joy collection, throw in a little muslin, a whole lot of gesso and diamond dust and a little more gesso and a little more diamond dust.

Sure hope that the recipient of this wee mini likes it.

True friendship ...

Another creation using a little Lulu & Roy ...

What's with all the easel cards ... well I still can't seem to stop making them, nor do I want to, to be honest ... they are so easy to whip up and they look more than a little bit stunning.

FRIENDS ...

Using a little Lulu & Roy - one of the March releases from Kaisercraft.

Throw in a squirt of this mist and that mist and this mist ... and nope, we will stop there ... after all there were only three mists involved.

A little gesso, a few ripped papers, a little modeling paste, a mask ... a few more squirts from those glimmermist bottles.

Heat the hot glue gun up and a few squirts of that here and there, a selection of floral bits and pieces, a little more gesso and voila ...

A new month ...

You are not going to want to miss out on this Kaisercraft collection.

I know that Hilary has it available at Scrap it Simple.

Forgetful ...

Sometimes I forget to share some of my creations on my blog.

These photos are of Nathan from last year - his final year high school photos.

You know the ones ... the individuals, the class photos, the sports photos, all of those ones, that the 'official school photographer' comes into the school to take.

And me being me, I always purchased them ... just cos.

The special keepsakes.

He was even wearing his prefect's tie in these photos.

Well I don't get to do that any more, high school is now kaput!!!

I've played with three or four masks on this layout.  I've also played with gesso, distress inks and my favourite of the day ... my gelatos ... loving these things.

Throw in a little Base Coat from Kaisercraft and a little Class Act [quite appropriate really], a little distressing and I was done, just like that.

Right then, enjoy your weekend people.
Keep warm and dry.

How about another one ...

Hi there and welcome back. Yep, I'm on a roll. I realised that I hadn't shared this layout - another one ... White, green and orang...
