It's looking a lot like Christmas ...

Okay, so I have a little more to share using that fabulous collection from Kaisercraft - they really do making creating easy and I will still continue to say that and I don't have to for any reason whatever.

I whipped up a photo frame, added a few floral embellishments and baubles and a little more of that Aleene's Glitter Snow. [not the best of photos sorry - the glass in the frame gave me a reflection - apologies]

and a close up of that embellishment cluster ...

and to finish off my post ...

A Christmas card

A whole lot of creativity and most of it has come from the St Nicholas 6.5" paper pad and the collectables die cut collection.

If you need to go shopping [and who doesn't] ... you can find the following supplies available at the Flying Unicorn store :

The last few days with all of these creations that I have been sharing ... well you can find these products below.

Crackers anyone ...

A little more creativity using the gorgeous traditional Christmas colours in the St Nicholas range ...

Next up we have a pair of handmade Christmas crackers.

I guess you could say, a his and hers.

Add a little bit of this and a little bit of that and just like that ...
Have to say, it's fabulous making some handmade creations for Christmas.  And I have to say, they have been made with love.

Happy creating.

A new Christmas release from Kaisercraft ...

Well it's new to me and that would be the St Nicholas Christmas release from Kaisercraft.

I love the traditional colours of Christmas and so I decided to play, oops, create with the St Nicholas collection.

One of the Flying Unicorn challenges this month is a 'trash to treasure' challenge.

I've used an empty Lindt chocolate box and this is what I have created.

and as always, you know you are going to see a few close ups ...

and I won't disappoint ...

I also made a small box and added this to the top of the recycled box and perched my wee bird on top of it.

and that snowman ...

Guess I was a wee tad heavy handed with the glue ... oops ...

Check out the nose ... I have to share what I did ... I pulled apart a Kaisercraft paper bloom and rolled one of the petals to make my wee snowman's nose ... pretty clever, don't you think?

The hat ... well the hat is a craft reel, with a layer of modelling paste on the top and then I have dabbed Dylusions black marble spray all over the outside of it and then dabbed with a little more modelling paste.

And because I can, another close up of my wee snowman.

His arms are a black pipe cleaner threaded through his body.

And I have found yet another new product in the Flying Unicorn store that I seem to be applying to my projects of late - Aleen's Glitter Snow ... a.m.a.z.i.n.g.  Truly!!!

Right then, well that was the first project ... more to share over the coming days.

Happy creating everyone.

Smile ...

I whipped up a little envelope.

And I have to say, it's not very big ...

But I'm hoping that this little envelope will bring a special smile to the intended recipient.

And I hope that she knows that others really do care - cos they do.

And ... that special lady, well she really is rather special.

Big hugs.
Just saying.

Card creations ...

I seem to be whipping up cards at a great rate of knots these days.

No sooner do I make one and it seems to disappear just as quickly.

The card stash once floweth over ... doesn't do that any more.

But I love creating and sharing and sending them away.

Have to say, receiving mail makes me feel good ... opening an envelope that someone has sent that doesn't contain a dreaded bill has to be good for you ... you all know what I mean.

So how about you whip up a creation of some sort ... pop it in the mail and when it arrives in someone's mail box, they too will know that you must have been thinking of them, for whatever reason.

Well actually, there doesn't have to be a special reason ... a just cos ... a just because you can.

A little something that will bring a smile.

Go on, I dare ya!!!!!
Just because you can.

A little something to make someone smile ...

I was looking for something in my scrappy mess a couple of weeks ago and picked up an older Kaisercraft Christmas collection.

Just a couple of pieces of paper that had fallen out of one of their small pads.

So I whipped up a wee box.

Grabbed some baubles, tags and bells and the hot glue gun.

Popped in a couple of Lindt choccie treats, packaged it up and sent it on its merry way.

A little something to make someone smile.

Love doing that.

Santa's List ...

Take one little ol' 6x6 paper pad ... the Santa's List collection from Teresa Collins and then, well then, you add a little bit of this and a little bit of that ...

and voila!

One easel card ...

One off the page project ...

Another easel card ...

Another off the page project ...

And one more, a voucher holder ...

And wait for it ... I've only got a few scraps left, but I'm sure that I get get another card or two and perhaps even a tag.

Not bad for a little ol' 6x6 paper pad and a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
Just saying.

And that little ol' pad of gorgeousness, well that comes from here.

Pretty blossoms ...

I had a special delivery arrive on my desk last Tuesday.

A gorgeous hand tied bouquet of unopened peonies from my daughter.

When then they opened, they were ...

So pretty ...

So delicate ...

the petals look so delicate and fragile ...

these peonies were really stunning ...

They certainly cheered me up and made me smile, after I wiped away the tears.
Enjoy your week.

Dream ...

Using one of the gorgeous papers that came in November's kit from Flying Unicorn, I whipped up this card.

Maggi is running a challenge this month with a list of things [I guess you could call them ingredients] that you need to use and I used five of them off the list.

Everyone will have a different method of using their ingredients [cos that's just the way we are], life would be pretty boring otherwise.

And I threw in a little handsewing to boot and just played.

Love my new mask/stencil and I can't help myself ... it's going to keep appearing for the next wee while.

And that word 'Dream', that came from Hilary at Scrap it Simple ... it's one of the new Manorhouse Creation's words that have just hit the market.

Just sharing.

Mojo Monday ...

Is this not the most divine sketch ... and I got to play with it ... yep, I'm up on Mojo Monday with the girls at Flying Unicorn ...

Alda designed this humdinger of a sketch and so I played ...

and yep, it would be fair to say, that I really did play ...

and come on now, it goes without saying ... you are going to see this wee project up close and personal

and another one ...

now that wasn't too photo heavy now was it?

This is what I did ...

I have taken one canvas and I have gesso’d, added a little mesh and then quite liberally sprayed with Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays.

I then reapplied gesso and dried.

Grabbing a stencil I’ve applied modelling paste.

Once everything dried I then started layering with more mesh, muslin, string and then layered with flowers ... I’ve used a mixture of Petaloo Wild Blossoms and a Manorhouse Creations vine which I’ve snipped into several pieces.

You can see a wooden heart, a lock and a key tucked into my embellishment clusters.  I used a paint brush and dabbed LSG spray on to each piece, dried, then stamped with my embossing pad and then sprinkled embossing enamel over the top.

Next I’ve used a cotton bud and dabbed it into the LSG bottle and then gently dabbed over the top of the canvas.

I’ve finished by randomly applying modelling paste with my finger tips.

From the Flying Unicorn store ...

Would love to see a few of my scrapping buddies play along with this week's gorgeous sketch ... come on, don't be shy ... make time ... it won't take you long.

Happy creating everyone.
