so, here we go ... for some reason this layout just didn't photograph very well ... not sure why ... perhaps I should have used a little pink ... gelatos perhaps ... it looks very wishy-washy and it truly isn't in real life ... oh well ...
[I've just clicked on my layout ... it looks better when you do that ...] ...
Two elements at least [my evidence]; well that would be a frame, two of them actually ... either my Prima heart on top of my card or my masked frame on the bottom of everything i.e., the texture paste which is just about all covered up ... but it's there, honest it is ... now would I lie under oath ... nope siree ...
Add a little light distressing and some of those elements are starting to come together just nicely.
Hand written numbers as a date, do you think that they will county too?
I've even popped on something transparent - how about my 'love' bulb thingymajig, I guess too you could even count my flourishes from said texture pasted frame ... now I did have a bird, actually two of them, but not sure if they will make the cut to be honest ... might have to hide that evidence ... lol.
And how's this for another element ... I've dried some of the rose petals and they are now attached to the back of my layout in a clear bag ... will dig out one of those glassine envelopes [at least I think that's what they are called] that I have buried in my stash from many years gone by, to keep them as a keepsake.
Moving along to the testimony, let me see ... document Valentine's Day ... well you can't get much more evidence and testimony than the card from my bouquet of roses that were delivered to me at work ... they smelt divine, didn't last as long as I would have liked them to last unfortunately. I guess grown for the market in bulk type thing ... honestly, they were beautiful roses.
And the journaling, which is framed, is the message inside the card ...
Love you ...
See you in Paris!
Russell
And I've got the colour scheme covered ...
So that's it ... Detective Friz signing out.
Now ... seriously, I've got no idea where I am supposed to actually put my layout ... help !!!!
