Bayside Return with "Strangest Faces" Ahead of Tour Dates with Thrice, pinkshift & save face (Hopeless Records)

Renowned Punk band Bayside returned just a couple weeks ago to release their haunting new single, "Strangest Faces." The song premiered last month on SiriusXM Octane and is out now, via Hopeless Records. Bayside will be on tour starting next month with Thrice, along with dates supported by ANXIOUS, Can't Swim, Action/Adventure, Catalyst, pinkshift, and save face. Tickets and V.I.P. packages are now available right here . "Writing riffs and making heavy music is fun," shares frontman Anthony Raneri. "We've always had that kind of influence and we leaned into it a lot more with Interrobang‽. We wanted to see how far we could take injecting heaviness and riffs into Melodic Punk music. He continues, "I saw Thrice on a day off from tour in 2002 and I've loved them [ever] since. Can't wait to be on this tour and have a great band, like Thrice making us up our game every night." "Strangest Faces" marks the band's first new mus...

All-around Breakdown: Don't Panic Frontman Ted Felicetti Breaks Down Long-awaited Debut Album See Through It (self-released)

The Witzard and Don't Panic have a long strange relationship together. Well, maybe, not exactly "strange," but it's definitely one of my personal favorites I've forged over these past 10 years running this very site. It was quite a few years ago, maybe, about 2009 or so, on a complete whim, I saw Don't Panic at local now-defunct Vineland, New Jersey venue Hangar 84. I believe, Don't Panic were opening up for The Ataris and I vaguely recall talking to one of the members' (maybe, drummer Anthony Paesano) parents about it being his first show with the band. Their set was phenomenal and I ended up buying a CD copy of Don't Panic's then-new EP, My Fairweather Friend . One track in particular, "Caroline," quickly became a staple on CD-R mixtapes I was actively making for my then-girlfriend/now-wife. However, it appears as though by 2011-12, Don't Panic had broken up or, at least, gone on an indefinite hiatus. So, you could imagine...

Bayside Unleash Riff-heavy Eighth Studio Album Interrobang & Announce The Interrobang‽ Club Tour 2019 (Hopeless Records)

Bayside are a Punk/Hardcore-adjacent Pop Punk/Emo band initially formed in Bayside, Queens, New York-based in 2000. Steadily approaching their 20th year playing together, Bayside 's current line-up consists of Anthony Raneri, Jack O'Shea, Nick Ghanbarian & Chris Guglielmo . Now, I in no way intend to unintentionally age myself here... but, "back in the day" (the early 2000's,) I was fortunate enough to catch Bayside live in support of, I believe, in support of both Senses Fail & Taking Back Sunday; somewhere, I still have a black-and-yellow "IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN BAYSIDE" concert T-shirt from one of said gigs. Just about two weeks ago, Bayside announced the sheer existence of their eighth studio album, Interrobang , which was released this past Friday, October 4, 2019. Interrobang is quite easily Bayside 's loudest, most riff-heavy album to date juxtaposed against extremely catchy, melodic hooks on nearly every single track. As crazy...
