Strike the Clutch by Luke Sick & Damien It's been a big year for Spokane, Washington -based I Had An Accident (IHAA) Records . Just this year, they've released a staggering number of releases from EQUIPTO & Brycon Present: The Watershed , Rabbi Max, Tenshun & Bonzo , BRZOWSKI/MC Homeless, C$ BURNS , Audiosiris, Bonzo Speechless & Damien , Namo, Blood Monk Consortium , Mhaze, The Deaf Index , SKRAPEZ AKA Tenshun & Psychopop, and countless others. I Had An Accident Records (IHAA) is a Spokane -based tape label we've grown particularly fond of in recent months, if you haven't yet already noticed. IHAA is owned and operated by one Damien Miller (@damienbtc74) - yes, that's in fact, the same "Damien" from Luke Sick & Damien 's phenomenal, yet incredibly too short EP, Strike The Clutch . First recommended to me by John "Jumbled" Bachman , I unfortunately, wasn't able to score one of Luke Sick & Damien 's extremely limited edition tapes, but Strike The Clutch was highlighted within The Witzard 's Rap EP Wrap-up this past March. Damien was actually, gifted the label from former I Had An Accident owner and founder Justin Bieler with his first "official" IHAA release being Mathias Kruse x Brenky 's Eustress / Wormhole from May 2016. Over the course of the past month or so, there have been a plethora of solid Hip-Hop EP's released online; a quick, concise 30-minutes or less format that's seemingly, replaced the mixtape/"street album" format of years passed to become your favorite underground rapper/producer's go-to promotional tool. Here, for this inaugural edition of The Witzard's Rap EP Wrap-up, we'll be profiling eight EP's released throughout March 2018, as well as two released at the end of February that were honestly, way too dope to not include!
