I can't confirm the date of the Humble Pie show, but here's an argument making the case for a possible date:
The stage announcer says, "all right L.A....are you ready..."
Around this time Humble Pie played Los Angeles area shows at:
Long Beach Arena, Long Beach, CA May 11, 1980
This isn't a likely source, it's too old.
Other possible dates are:
L.A. Sports Arena, May 12, 1981
Country Club, Reseda, CA May 30, 1981
Woodstock Concert Theatre, Anaheim, CA May 31, 1981
There's a live album called "California '81" available through BandCamp with three songs on this show, plus three additional tracks. It's from the Reseda show which makes it very likely that these are May 30, 1981 and from the Country Club. If someone has that show and compare it, we may get a confirmed date.
On the runout grooves, Side 1 has the start of the word "Budweiser," but it's scratched out and replaced with "Busch." It's likely there were two versions of the show produced with different sponsors.
I've always enjoyed the revitalized early 80's part of Mr. Bond's career. Springsteen gave him a boost with a few songs and production assistance, but he's on his own here and sounds great.
