Originally seeded 2006 here http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/showthread.php?t=25346 in 2006 with incorrect / incomplete information.
shntools still match the original although these files have been tagged and renamed in tag & rename (2010? by myself)

Country Style USA was a radio program syndicated by the US Army Band and Recruiting Services and broadcast as a recruiting tool for them.

Produced by the U.S. Treasury Department in the 1940s and 1950s as a public service program, Guest Star features a different often top-name "guest star" (singer, actor, comedian) each week to promote the sales of savings bonds

Previoulsy circulated with incorrect dates of 1958 & 1959. listening to talk n these and doing a bit of digging around determined to be earlier broadcast than originally circulated as

*13 . Get Rhythm " Our Latest Release on Sun" - recorded 1956
released as the B side of Walk The Line - April 2 1956

Difficult to pin down an actual date on this - the website  http://www.otrsite.com/logs/logc1075.htm starts at episode 39 broadcast 07-05-1956 - these would have been recorded at least a couple weeks before broadcast - it is very possible that a May - June 1956 recording date is correct here since that would be correct time in regards to a latest release

1959-06-28  Guest Star best guess per http://www.otrcat.com/guest-star-radio-p-1350.html

Yes you will find these programs for sale online , however these programs were produced by the US Government originally and as such have fallen into the public domain

Johnny Cash - 1972-09-30 Beatclub No 80

In Germany at the end of the 60ies started a regular TV feature called Beatclub, where every Saturday afternoon bands played live in the studio and gave us young Germans the opportunity to choose our habits & outfits. So our tate - almost every band as obscure they may have been went "big" with a loyal fan community.

The series ended with in 1972 and one of the last concerts was a show by Johnny Cash. This is ripped from a DVD in best sound quality

There's also a Youtube-Video with lower sound quality

The Dylan/Cash Sessions

Bob Dylan
The Dylan/Cash Sessions
Studio Outtakes

Johnny Cash:
"Another unpleasant experience for Bob and me both was when the tape of the sessions he and I did together got out and was bootlegged all over Europe. We did 16 or 17 songs, but we were just in there having fun. It was like what they call the Million Dollar Quartet, when I was singing with Elvis and Carl [Perkins] and Jerry Lee [Lewis]. The songs had no starting place and no stopping; we'd get into them and everyone would join in. Bob and I did "Careless Love," whatever we might know the words to.... There's a song or two that's good enough to put out, but there's not an album there..."

Bob Dylan:
“Cash Is King”
When Cash died on September 12, 2003, Rolling Stone magazine asked Dylan for a statement. In an essay called “Cash Is King," Dylan wrote, “In plain terms, Johnny was and is the North Star; you could guide your ship by him—the greatest of the greats then and now... Truly he is what the land and country is all about, the heart and soul of it personified and what it means to be here; and he said it all in plain English. I think we can have recollections of him, but we can't define him any more than we can define a fountain of truth, light and beauty.”
