IF YOU MUST RETURN IT YOU CAN SEND IT HERE

The Beatles - The Garage Tapes @ 320 Kbps

This is one that doesn't turn up too often. I got this from Blog Stoned (Does anybody have a link to his site? If he's up and running.) See scans

I'VE GOT NO TIME FOR YOU RIGHT NOW

John Lennon - Walls And Bridges 8 Track Quad Edition @160 Kbps

* For BTLFAN if he doesn't already have this

From what I understand the only way you could get this was on 8-track. So that would mean this is unavailable on LP, and CD. You know this thing is way out of print. It features many mixes unavailable any where else. However I'm sure there's that super Lennon fan who will correct me if I'm wrong. Low bit rate (So sue me). See scans

Arthur Lee & Love - Live Glastonbury Festival
(with the Forever Changes Orchestra)
Pilton, Somerset, UK

The title of the album came from a story that Lee had heard about a friend-of-a-friend who had broken up with his girlfriend. She exclaimed, "You said you would love me forever!," and he replied, "Well, forever changes." Lee also noted that since the name of the band was Love, the full title was actually Love Forever Changes.

Joe Cocker BBC Sessions 68-69 @320 Kbps

 Updated Link...

I would like to address a few things that are my opinion's and my opinion's only. First things first. Brother Mitch, I've spoke with Mitch over the phone before, he was and is very enthusiastic about this place. He's always envisioned the Voodoo Wagon as being the best blog on the market. Right now I'm not in a state where I can help him out (hang in there Bro hopefully soon I can send a little something your way) but that don't mean you gotta be a DICK about it like Anon was. Jeez that guy said something about the mostly crappy post here, but doesn't that mean he was checking in regularly just to see what was new here? Hmmmm seems if the music we post is so shitty you wouldn't bother to waste your time with this site. Which leads me to my next rant. The music posted here. Many times there are things here that have never shown up on other blogs, and with 23415477908 bootlegs ever being released I'd say that's quite a coup. The stuff posted here as is diverse as you can get. How many blogs (including specialties blogs) do you have to go to to find say "The Black Angels," "Woven Hand," "16 Horsepower," "Five Horse Johnson" just to name a few? Look at our fellow contributor "draftervoi" his shit ends up on more sites than most others. Good work brother, I'm proud to be associated with you. Oh and as an aside VC, dude let bygones be bygones and come back. You had some of the best Hendrix post on the planet. And finally (here comes the ass-kissing part....not really) THE BOSS a take no prisoner's, shoot from the hip, tell it like it is guy. That's the number one reason I still contribute. I love his FUCK-YOU attitude if you don't like it, also HE HAS ALWAYS HAD MY BACK. I also love the the pictures of the women posted here. So none of the above has any thing to do with this post. But this does. Many many years ago I had the chance to see Joe live. Unbeknownst to me there was a lady at the same show whom I had never met that was sitting next to the columns of speakers, and to this day still suffers hearing loss because of that show, whom I later did meet and have now been married to her for 33? 34 years. So there you have it. One more thing I have included a hidden post in here somewhere. It's a CD that has never been released here in the good ol' US. However you're gonna have to search to find it and I will be taking it out by the end of the week-end. So act now. No covers. But the songs are:

1. With A Little Help From My Friends
2. Marjorine
3. Change In Lousie
4. Let's Go Get Stoned
5. That's Your Business
6. Delta Lady
7. Can't Be So Bad
8. Run Shaker Life
9. Mr. Bus Driver
10. Something's Coming

WELL IT'S TWELVE O'CLOCK AND I GOT THERE

*Thanks drkrick for pointing out that I had the wrong link it's fixed now though

Brian Setzer - The Warfield, SF CA. 1995

Okay...XMAS is over, and you're thinking of rockin' out on New Year's Eve.

Here's another show from KFOG-FM, digitized from my master cassettes.

It's the New Year's Eve show from the Warfield back in '95, complete with balloons, noisemakers, and the Setzer Orchestra in all their retro-glory. Setzer doesn't shy away from the frivolous fun; purists will be aghast at their jazz-up of a ridiculous version of Led Zep's "Black Dog." Sound quality is perfect FM, and there are no tape flips as I was running multiple tapes on a dual deck.

The poster can be purchased over at Wolfgang's Vault.

Thin Lizzy / RAI Congresgebouw, Amsterdam, NL, Dec. 17, 1976 Audience Tape

Thin Lizzy
RAI Congresgebouw
Amsterdam, NL
October 17, 1976

01. Jailbreak
02. Emerald
03. Still In Love With You
04. The Boys Are Back In Town
05. Rosalie
06. Sha La La
07. Baby Drives Me Crazy
08. Me And The Boys

This is an audience tape recorded by Hans DeVente.  We had a request for it a few weeks back, and we aim to please... so here it is!

The left channel had some clipping, so I ran Audacity's ClipFix on that channel.  I evened out the volume between the tracks, and chaptered it. Other than that...it's what you would expect from an audience tape... listenable, and of interest if you're a fan.

While the tape case looks like this is 17.12.76, a sharp-eyed reader has let me know that the date is actually October 17, 1976.

Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark / Electric Ballroom, London Dec. 7, 1979

Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark
Electric Ballroom. Camden Town, London, England
December 7, 1979

Source is probably the soundboard.

01.  Messages
02.  Bunker Soldiers
03.  Mysteriality
04.  Julia's Song
05.  Red Frame/White Light
06.  Almost (tape flip)
07.  Electricity
08.  I'm Waiting For The Man

This is another Hans DeVente tape.  I normalized and chaptered the tracks.  Mr. DeVente did not list the source, but as there's a Talking Heads soundboard from the same date, it's likely this is a soundboard as well.

There's a tape flip where a bit of the show is lost, but otherwise it's an excellent sounding show.

The Shirts / Paradiso, Amsterdam Dec. 8, 1979 KRO-FM

The Shirts
The Paradiso, Amsterdam, Holland
8th Dec 1979
KRO-FM

01.  Tell Me Your Plans
02.  One Last Chance
03.  I Feel So Nervous
04.  I Wanna Be A Rocker
05.  Laugh and Walk Away
06.  Out On The Ropes
07.  Outside The Cathedral Door
08.  Poe
09.  I'm Not One Of Those
10.  Jumpin' Jack Flash

This is a Hans Devente tape.  Hans has popped up out of the Internet ether with yet another blog and he's put up a few new tapes....including this excellent tape of the Shirts.

I normalized the volume and chaptered the songs.

Notes: The title for Track 4 is a guess.  This track is introduced as, "...we have some more third album material that we brought to Holland, brand new stuff"

While the prior song ("One Last Chance") is on the third album, Inner Sleeve, track four (which I've titled as "I Wanna Be A Rocker") does not match any of the song titles on the third album.   Inner Sleeve wasn't released until October 1980 (according to the The Great Indie Discography (Martin Charles Strong)) so it may be that this song didn't make the final cut.

There was a version of this posted on Guitars 101 with a slightly different set list, so there may have been more than one broadcast of this show.

Edgar Broughton Band - Inside Out (1972)

Edgar Broughton Band - Inside Out (1972)
+Bonus Tracks
Studio recordings @ 320
Out of Print

The London ‘underground’ scene welcomed the anarchic, revolutionary and irreverent Broughtons into an active fraternity during the early days of 1969. The band comprised Edgar Broughton (b. 24 October 1947, Warwick, Warwickshire, England; guitar/vocals), Steve Broughton (b. 20 May 1950, Warwick, Warwickshire, England; drums/vocals) and Arthur Grant (bass, guitar, vocals). Edgar’s growling voice was similar to that of Captain Beefheart and they regularly featured his ‘Dropout Boogie’ in their act. Following their arrival in London they played at a number of small club gigs arranged by Blackhill Enterprises. They were given a wider audience by playing at the famous Blind Faith free concert in Hyde Park in June 1969, where the Broughtons incited the crowd to a frenzy with an exhaustive rendition of the favourite, ‘Out Demons Out’.
The band expanded to a four piece for their self-titled third album, employing ex-Pretty Things guitarist Victor Unitt. Despite the exposure that BBC disc jockey John Peel gave the band on his pioneering UK radio show Top Gear, the political and sexual themes of their songs had dated by the early 70s, although the band soldiered on for a number of years, maintaining a defiant political stance that gained acceptance with a loyal core of British and German rock fans. Unitt had left by the time the band recorded Bandages for the NEMS label in 1975. Prevented from recording by managerial problems, the band made a low-key return in 1979 now billed simply as the Broughtons. During subsequent decades, the Broughtons could still be found performing as part of late 60s revival shows and on the London pub circuit.

Bio at Wiki

Here's a band that has some die hard fans and it's a band I never did "get". The music has been called psychedelic and or acid rock. Other than the vocalist sometimes sounding like Captain Beefheart some of the time, I find no social redeeming value for this band. Hopefully they were killer live.
But hey, who am I to judge?

Track List:
1. Get Out Of Bed - There's Nobody There - Side By Side
2. Sister Angela
3. I Got Mad
4. They Took It Away
5. Homes Fit To Heroes
6. Gone Blue
7. Chilly Morning Momma
8. The Rake
9. Totin This Guitar
10. Double Agent
11. Its Not You
12. Rock N Roll
13. Hotel Room (Bonus Track)

Fear - I Don't Care About You

Take this anyway you want...

This song represents 99% of people's attitude that come to this blog.
Everyone always thinks "Oh, someone else can help help that guy. Not me."

The people who I thought were quite generous with donations for my new computer to help replace my old one when it went meltdown are now basically ignoring to help out a friend in need.

5 people, including myself, out of the THOUSANDS that come here everyday have actually done anything for our friend Mitch.

My faith in humanity and vultures has been confirmed...
