I was completely unaware of this band until I came across this EP a couple of weeks back, and upon listening, I was immediately hooked by their brand of aggressive thrash metal. The vocals may be a bit of an acquired taste, but they suit the music, and the guitars are spot on. This disc got me to go search out their earlier releases, of which they have 5 full-length albums and 2 EPs over a 16-year span.

I like this disc for a few reasons. First off, the band creates a grisly old-school chug that I really enjoy, and then the drummer is bringing cymbals back to death metal. I am not sure if it is his technique or the way he has them mic'ed, but they really stand out in the mix. The only thing missing is the Deivos cowbell. The other interesting thing is that this band has the exact same lineup as Oath Div. 666, which also plays old-school sounding death metal with a more Satanic slant.

Here is a disc that I have had on my phone for a while now, but I only just recently got around to listening to it. Immediately, the old-school riffs and heavy bottom end caught my attention, so I did some research and discovered that one of the guitarists is the same dude from Glutted Swarm who created one of my favorite albums from 2024. I am not saying this is a great album, but I like it, and wanted to share it for those who may have missed it.

Damn, this is a gritty, heavy fukking thrash metal album! Very good in my opinion, and I am not sure how much attention this one might have gotten. It was released last August, and I didn't come across it until November, so maybe others missed this as well. Check it now for sure.

Looking back at the last 14-15 years, these guys are easily one of my favorite bands of the time period. After 5 years, this album is a crusher with every detail being meticulously honed to razor-sharp perfection. From the videos, it is good to see that these guys have a sense of humor and don't take themselves too seriously. But damn, they take their musical craft as seriously as fukk!

A few months back, I think it was El Faffo (correction: defleshed) who promoted this album in the chatbox, and at the time, I wasn't aware of this band. I decided to look them up and saw the melodic death metal tag, which gave me a certain impression about what to expect from their music. I am pleased to say, though, that my initial bias was unfounded, and yes, this is melodic, but it is also gritty and aggressive, and I am digging it.

Nice, with this album, these guys have 3 LPs out, but this is my first time with them, and I like what I am hearing. Even though the dude's vocal style can get a bit obnoxious at times, I still like the way he belts it out. Killer proggy, thrash metal!

Back in 1989, I found this album in my local record store and knew nothing about the band, but as was typically the case, I bought the vinyl anyway. I remember getting home and putting this on the turntable and being totally blown away by these tracks, with my favorite track being Wicked Mystic. State-of-the-art technical thrash metal, and while I have not followed their output closely in recent years, in my opinion, the band has not equaled the quality of this album from back in the day.

Damn, this album is the bomb! I'm glad I decided to listen to this one right away and not sit on it for a couple of months, the way I have been doing recently. These guys create a nice chug in their death design, somewhat similar to another favorite of mine, Molder.
