I first became aware of Leather Leone back in 1985 in the band Chastain on their Mystery of Illusion album, and I always liked that record. At first, I actually thought the singer was a guy, but found out later that wasn't the case. This album won't be for everyone, but the old metalhead in me likes it.

This was a cool album back in the day, albeit somewhat late to the scene but I always thought that Leather was one of the better female vocalists in heavy metal at that time. She had, and still has, a dark tone in her voice, maybe a little Dio.
