I have been following Cytotoxin for many years now and have always liked their music, especially the first 3 albums, but for some reason, I wasn't all that excited for this album, and I didn't even listen to it right away. Hey, that's on me though, because after listening to this a few times now, I realize that I still really like this band and their brand of technical brutality.

If the year ended right now, then this disc would be in my top 5 for sure and probably competing with Hideous Divinity for #1. It may still be that way on December 30th of this year. I've long promoted Cytotoxin, but I wasn't even really anticipating this release, and much to my surprise, it's just sofa king good from start to finish, from brutality to technicality, this disc is the "real deal."
