Crisix has been one of my favorite new-age thrash bands ever since I first heard their album The Menace in 2017. I was really excited when I learned they had a new disc coming out last year even though it was a re-recorded version of their 2013 Rise...Then Rest album, which was mixed & mastered by none other than Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal & Cannibal Corpse). I am not sure why the band felt the need to remake the album but since I had never heard the original release these tracks were still new to me. If anyone has the 2013 version, please share.

Crisix is another thrash band that I wasn't aware of until recently and damn I like these guys! They have a 2016 release that is pretty good as well, but this disc is a little more raw and balls to the wall, which makes it very cool and totally fucking neck wrecking!
