Morbid Angel - Altars of Madness, Unleashed - Where No Life Dwells, Malevolent Creation - Retribution and Bolt Thrower - Warmaster were the first death metal albums that I ever bought and in the years that they were released but to be honest, I didn't like any of them back at the time and it was mainly because of the vocals. I was still too much into Power, Thrash and Speed Metal back in those days and it took me a little longer, really until 93 - 94, to begin to appreciate death metal. Oh well, at least I finally saw the error of my ways.
