Xorsist is back with 2/3 of a new lineup and a quick follow-up to their 2022 debut album. They are still successfully mining the early '90s Stockholm scene for their sound and the production, courtesy of Tomas Skogsberg fits the style they are pursuing perfectly even though I would prefer a more guitar heavy sound.

This disc came out back in March and I missed it until recently but after 3 listens over the last week or so I have to say I really like this band. Unfortunately, 2/3 of the band left at the completion of recording this album. Even though they were at legendary Sunlight Studios I think the only thing holding this disc back is the production because there are some excellent moments of Swedish death metal going on here.
