For me, this band's 2021 album came out of nowhere and was really very good, so when I saw this release back in April. I was super excited. Then I listened to the first couple of tracks, and my first impression was of the production quality, and I felt it was so limiting. I mean, I can hear every instrument, but I have to crank this up to 20 on my sound system just to get a reasonable volume out of it, and usually I wouldn't go much above 15 for normal listening. Don't get me wrong, the songs, the skill level, and the nasty death metal on this album are top notch, but in my opinion, the production doesn't do it the justice it deserves.
