It is a shame that this is only 3 tracks because it is so damn good! You have to figure with Hannes Grossmann on drums that it is held down tight in that department but the young guy from Texas on guitars is on top of his game too. Tracks 1 & 2 have a guy from Iraq on vocals and #3 has a guy from the UK. I am interested to hear more from this collective in the future but I wonder if that will happen?

Apogean is a relatively new Canadian band who have a fair bit of "core" in their style of technical death metal and the only complaint I have is they tend to overuse the secondary vocal style, I prefer the dude's more guttural style.

I can't remember which one of our old friends first promoted these guys around here but I am thinking it was either DDM or bongripper, whoever it was I want to say thank you! Over the years I have really grown to like this band and realized recently that I hadn't posted any of their material with the exception of their 2015 EP Bloodcvlts (clocking in at 40 minutes it is difficult to consider that an EP). They have so much quality material but I think this is my favorite album from them. This isn't Neanderthal death metal, this is for the thinking man.

Here is yet another new band to me, and they have created another interesting album that I really like. It seems that Osculant Brutality is a 2-man project where the main guy from Italy plays all of the instruments and does the vocals and the 2nd dude from Boise, Idaho writes the lyrics. Lyrics can be very important, and in these tracks, you can actually understand what is being said most of the time, so they are important but to me, the guy who plays all of the instruments and performs the vocals is the band and he is talented. You gotta crank this one up because it is recorded a little low but overall this jams \m/\m/
