After the 80s, I hadn't listened to much of Helstar's later material until a few months back, when our friend Bongripper dropped in here and promoted this disc in the chatbox. He actually said that he doesn't listen to this style of metal much anymore, but if he were going to, this would be one of the albums he would take the time for. That is all it took to get me to listen to this one, and I really enjoyed it, so much so that I went back and listened to their 2016 album, and I am liking it as well. It is also awesome to see that Larry Barragán and James Rivera are still together after all of these years.

I was a big fan of this band back in the 80s, but as my tastes changed at the end of that decade, I lost them after Nosferatu in '89. I haven't listened to much of their newer material until this year, and now I am here to say that this album is very good, along with their newest album too.

Helstar was one of my favorite bands from the '80s and IMO, they probably had the best first 4 album run of any band in the genre from that era and this release is their best overall effort from my perspective \m/\m/

This is one of my favorite albums from back in that time period. Helstar were so far ahead of other bands back then, and I was the first one in my circle who knew about them, so I would take this album to every party that I went to back then, and convince the party giver to play it or commandeer the sound system and play it myself. Killer metal and my own rip \m/\m/
