My friend nuttinface had told me about this band a few years back and said I should check them out, but I never did until just recently. The members of this band have a ton of experience in other bands, but I shied away because I didn't want to hear the guy who sang this song (which I loved, by the way) sing black metal now. I do have to admit, though, that I like this album as there are some skilled performances from the various members and Phill's black metal vocals aren't the worst I have heard.

Damn, this blows me away I wasn't expecting this to be so good! I don't know much about this band because I can find very little info on them, but based on the Bandcamp link above they also go simply by B.C. and there must be some sort of contractual issue with the label because this album, which leaked in August of last year, doesn't have any marketing or promotion from what I can tell. Hell so far, I think I am the only person to give my man IllInTheHead over at STB a beer for sharing this band. It's a shame because this is highly bad ass \m/\m/

I have liked this band for a long time, ever since their Torturetorium album in 2010 and their 2020 album was good too, so I was eager to listen to this release as soon as it dropped. I like this, it might not be at the top of the BOTY lists but it's good and I like it.

I had posted Absolutisim's previous EP Blasting Trilok I but for some ignorant reason had the band labeled as being from Indonesia and then when this disc came out last year I thought this was a different band. So, I was saying a year or two ago that Portugal was becoming one of my new favorite countries for death metal and I guess this band is further proof of the talent on display there because Besta are more grindy than other bands I like but I am still digging this disc.
