Back in 1985, I thought that the opening/title track of this album was so badass, in fact, the first 5 tracks on this album + Fountain of Youth were/are all pretty good.

This was one of my favorite bands in the early '80s and there are about 9 very good tracks here from their early career and I liked their next release, Power of the Night a lot as well. Criss Oliva was a very good guitarist but he and his brother didn't always make consistent music or hold the band together and then Criss died too soon (RIP) \m/\m/

Savatage was one of my favorite bands from the heyday of the '80s, and the first 4 tracks on this EP are a good illustration of the potential that they had. In my opinion, their downfall was that they could never quite put together an entire album of killer tracks, and the fact that their guitarist; Criss Oliva died much too young (RIP) \m/\m/
