I really like this band's 2009 offering but have to admit that I haven't listened to this album as much over the years. Not sure why though because it is actually very good. As You Drown are labeled as death metal/deathcore but they really have very little "core" to their sound in my opinion, to me, they just sound like modern death metal. Supposedly they are still active but I don't see much activity for the past couple of years to support that claim.
