A few months back, I think it was El Faffo (correction: defleshed) who promoted this album in the chatbox, and at the time, I wasn't aware of this band. I decided to look them up and saw the melodic death metal tag, which gave me a certain impression about what to expect from their music. I am pleased to say, though, that my initial bias was unfounded, and yes, this is melodic, but it is also gritty and aggressive, and I am digging it.
