Damn, this is another stellar death metal album for 2023 from a relatively new band Ascending Olympus! Thanks to CarlG for mentioning these guys in his 2023 BOTY list because I had missed it when this came out in April of last year. There was a lot of killer death in '23 and this ranks near the top for me.
