This band has been around for more than 20 years now but this is my first exposure to their work. This is pretty straightforward death metal with no frills added and not a bad listen. Not that it is relevant to the quality of the release but it is interesting to me that this release is 8 tracks at 24 minutes 11 seconds and is considered an EP. Based on the running time I agree with the EP tag however, they also have a 2019 release called Dissonance that consists of 8 tracks at just over 25 minutes and is considered an LP. I guess the extra minute makes the difference but I always considered an LP a collection of songs that was at least 30+ minutes.
