Demo Feature
CEASE is in our demo feature. A power violence band out of Hamilton that captures the anger of the city. Combining elements of beatdown with the crushing slows parts and blurring fast parts of power violence. A sonic assault that helps make sense out of the joke titles that make a play with French counting. There isn’t any room for title musings after this audio assault. Power Violence is alive and well in the Hammer. And the audio sample at the end of the last song is like a 2025 version of a call for unity.

Demo Feature
BSL were a band from Barrie back in 1986-1988. The three letter acronym was adaptable and the band had made a few stickers to suggest what the three letters could stand for. Boys from Scuttlebutt Lodge was the one that I have heard repeated back to me fairly often. They recorded a second demo in 1988 that really didn’t get much fan fare but three songs from their first demo made it to a compilation that I put out in 1988 called “Ontario: Yours to Discover”. We’re going to hear the eight song demo tonight.

Radio - Sunday, May 4th,2014

Inspired by the recent Toronto Mayor's escape to rehab the innocent story is a little tired and there is lots of speculation out there that this is part of some redemption story. Coke Bust had a song called "Innocence Complex" which fit perfectly in with these ideas. We won't be fooled again. You can hear tonight's program on the player above or download an MP3 file here.
