This is the program for July 1st, 2012, which happens to be "Canada Day" so we started off the show with the Subhumans and we played "Oh Canaduh". As we played it there waqs a realization with how shockingly accurate the lyrics continue to be even though they were written 30 plus years ago. We started off tonight's show with a set of bands from Spain to honour the country's victory in the Euro 2012 final. We featured an interview with Martin Sorrendeguy from Limp Wrist because they are in town to play a tribute for Will Munro at this year's Pride events. There is loads of classic and local hardcore followed up by a demo feature by Hamilton's Snake Charmer.

This is the Mother's Day (May 13th) edition of EXD and in honour of Mother's Day we started off with the Lucky Ones and a song called "Your mother's a man". Just a little humour to start off the show before getting into a set of material inspired by the student protests in Quebec, which see the provincial government making it too expenisve for kids to go to university, which really sees them pulling out of the investment in our future. So the first set is about how bleak our future is. Rob gets into some recent Ugly Pop 5 re-issues with the Hot nasties and the Rock and Roll Bitches among others. Zine - EXD, Volume 11, Issue 4

This is the September 2011 issue of EXD radio zine. Urban Blight is the feature interview. We did this interview originally with the band back in October 2010 just after they had gotten back from a tour in Europe. Consequently we spend a lot of time talking about the places they played. I have also been trying to get an interview with Beav about Urban Blight for years so I took the opportunity to ask him about meanings behind songs and history behind releases. I hope this covers all you wanted to know about Urban Blight. There are record reviews in here which include some new Finnish releases and some 625 releases that came in. A review of Jennifer Morton's book on BFG titled "Dirty Drunk and Punk" is in here. Nico Taus of Vicious Cycle also wrote a book about the Sudbury scene called "Songs from Nowhere" and my critiques are found in here. The big Hallowe'en fest flyer is the back cover with some of the bands playing the big three day fest in October. The show is being called "Ain't Dead Yet". Total War demo

West coast crust assault being played by guys who have played in FEAR OF TOMORROW, LIMB FROM LIMB, MASS GRAVE, and UNLEARN. This is probably the latest bastard child to result from Vancouver’s great Distort fest. Once the opening track wakes up the songs take on a charging pace with a constant low end rumble to echo our impending doom. Each song rins into the next creating momentum throughout the entire recording which reminds me of bands like DISKELMA. The guitar sound on songs like “They Lead, We Follow” there is a hum that reminds me of bands like LEGION666 or BOMBSTRIKE. Foat’s vocals straddle harsh and throaty in a WOLRD BURNS TO DEATH manner.
